Update: More details here.

I bet if the news covers this 24/7 for a week, it won’t happen again.
Who obscured the “gun-free zone” sign?
How can this be?
I mean, Da Peeples Republik de Kalifornia has some of the most stringent gun control laws of any state in the nation! They don’t even allow magazines that can hold more than 10 rounds of ammunition.
This story is impossible! It must be a hoax!
Oh happy day for the Left. They get to get what they always wanted, irrespective of actual threat. I assume after a few years hunters will be next.
Meanwhile, every failure the policies of the Left has, and all the miseries they bring, gets buried.
Hypothetical speculation–Posit that “God” is real, posit that “Lucifer” is real. I do have to say though that I find it hard to believe Providence would kill kids to get policies changed. Somebody else, though, seems logical, if he goes by his supposed m.o.
Maybe if we put it out that the shooter’s name is Barack Obama,he won’t get the wall to wall press coverage. /sarc
Interesting, it seems that the shooter used a shotgun.
So is Barack Insane Obammer gonna go after hunting shotguns now?
Notice the difference in the PD PIO’s -
Connecticut – kept a tight rein on information
California – just babbling on and on about whatever comes to mind
On the other hand, the press just babbled on and on about every thing they heard from Joe Random Attentionseeker, so perhaps having an official babble is an improvement.
Yes, its California. However, its Taft, in the Central Valley. This is oil country. Taft has more in common with Odessa Texas than it does Santa Barbara, not that it matters of course, I just don’t like to see stereotypes used when its not appropriate.
( If you want to see a movie filmed in Taft about “Taft life” see the movie “The Best of Times” with Kurt Russell and Robin Williams. )
We’ll only hear about this 24/7 if the shooter meets the media agenda. If he’s black or an illegal alien or was a Berkeley occupier/tree sitter, the story will die before the weekend.
Hi, brilliant page. I’m very delighted. Cool job. The texts are superb. I also run a blog, stop sometimes to me. I hope you enjoy it too.
