With numerous questions about the Benghazi attack still unanswered by the administration, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will speak at a Thursday night soiree in honor of slain Ambassador to Libya Chris Stevens.
Stevens will be posthumously award one of the Common Ground Awards, which are presented annually by Search for Common Ground to honor outstanding accomplishments in conflict resolution, negotiation, community building, and peacebuilding.
Accepting the award on behalf of Ambassador Stevens will be his sister, Anne Stevens.
Clinton will deliver remarks about the ambassador, according to the State Department.
The event will be at the Carnegie Institution for Science in Washington.
Members of Congress for the past several weeks have been pressing Clinton, President Obama, the intelligence community, and more for details about the Sept. 11 terrorist attack that killed Stevens and three other Americans. Lawmakers have complained that their requests, which they keep sending, have gone unanswered.
Chutzpah.

Also, “soiree” is not a good word for such a shockingly poignant gathering.
I think the writer is merely underlining how this admin will behave at what ought to be a solemn memorial.
Gee, I hope that whenever I die that the person responsible for it (if not by natural causes) is available to speak at my funeral. That would be about the same as having H Clinton speak at this event.
