The most hilariously shocking and disturbing part of this clip, is when White House spokesman Jay Carney says we should wait for “administration officials” to weigh in on whether the attacks were premeditated or not.

Here is why I have serious doubts our Federal Union will be preserved. Muslims do not consider women equals, they degrade them, make them cover themselves in public; they try and imprison those who renounce that faith, often killing them; they either do not allow other religions to freely practice (try getting a Bible into Saudi Arabia) or, as the Copts of Egypt know, they sometimes go on anti-Christian pogroms. And of course, they have an expectation that others will treat their religion as above all others–on threat of (in their mind) entirely justified violence.
And yet, despite these very real issues, the first instinct of our Federal government is to see what kind of charges they can cook up against a man who challenges the Muslims on their beliefs. Two weeks after a major party–the party of government–boos the mention of the word “God” in their platform.
Well, I’m not a Christian, but I can tell a runaway train when I see it. Things have got to change in the Democratic Party, and I’m not sure they will be. It’s more than the anti-Christian, pro-Muslim bias (despite the manifest evils of Islam as all too often currently practiced). It’s the entire threat of anti-liberty and pro-authoritarianism that emanates from the left as they try to impose a “greater good” by any means necessary–including demonizing domestic Christians while treating with kid gloves a religion that kill young girls for becoming something other than a Muslim–because elections have to be won, and a “new direction” taken, just because they of the left think they have some kind of “universal genius” card that means they should rule no matter what shortcomings they exhibit.
Thus, getting back to the original point–I have serious doubts whether the Federal Union will be preserved, or if it *should* be preserved. For the incidents of this week only further me in my profound belief that the Democratic Party and modern liberalism is profoundly diseased, and yet I do not see it’s power waning in time to prevent disaster.
As a codicil–I was driving the other day in an area that I have known since a boy. It has had an influx of Hispanics in the last ten years, working at poultry plants. While driving, I saw, for the first time ever on that route, graffiti.
“Obey Obama”
Like I said, I have serious doubts whether this Federal Union, this American Experiment in rule by the demos combined with maintenace of ordered liberty, can be preserved.
