The pro-Obama left is on a frantic hunt for “dog whistle” racism on the part of Republicans — an absurd exercise in amateur mind-reading which they feel compelled to do in the absence of any actual Republican racism. While the debate rages as to whether this is just psychological projection by the race-obsessed left, no one seems to notice the blunt in-your-face unequivocal racism expressed by some of Obama’s very own supporters.
Take, for example, this pro-Obama sign spotted by photojournalist Ringo in West Hollywood yesterday:
“Once you go black, you never go back! Obama 2012,” accompanied by a classic Obama “Hope” portrait.
The phrase “Once you go black, you never go back,” for those of you unfamiliar with it, is a deeply offensive expression meaning “Once you, a white person, have had sex with a black person, you’ll never want to go back to having sex with white people again.” Academics have long argued whether the once-common slang expression is racist toward blacks (by classifying them as sexual beings) or toward whites (for positing their sexual inferiority); or both. One way or the other, the term seems to offend everyone.
And yet, such a racist pro-Obama sentiment can be proudly displayed on a public street, and everyone shrugs, and continues on their way. Meanwhile, anytime a Romney supporter says the taboo terms “angry,” “golf,” “Chicago” or any number of diabolical and sneaky “dog whistle” racist code words, the media goes berserk.

The Obama “Hope” picture should always be accompanied by the classic Che Guevara pose that they copied it from.
The reality in the segregated South was that if a woman “went Black” she couldn’t go back because no White man who knew of it would have her. Even today, I have learned some very colorful slang from my soldier son for the White women in military towns here and abroad who fraternize with Black soldiers.
So if “going black” carries a sexual connotation, does that mean we were all screwed by Obama? In the colloquial sense, of course.

There’s very little that my youngest says in his unguarded moments that can be quoted on a “family” site. Even his more guarded moments keep his mother and I on the edge of our seats; he doesn’t play well with others. I spent most of my working life working a tough room, so I can turn the air blue with the best of them, but I can turn it on and off. When that kid got off active duty, if you took s**k, f**k, and f*g out of his vocabulary, he would only have been able to grunt and point. So, no, his favorite phrase for certan German bargirls, and their American equivalents, can’t go into print here.
As long as the phrase doesn’t include the despicable c word, I can’t imagine it being any worse than those other words you have listed above.
All those words are actually OK; you can hear them on cable TV every night, except maybe the three-letter one. The phrase in question is RAAAAAAAAAAAAA- CIST.

Also, during the 60s and early 70s young black men used this line when trying to seduce white females. I also heard it recently when an entertainment commentator discussed Kim Kardashian’s choice in boyfriends. I think it is a sexist remark they are trying to apply to a campaign and it doesn’t play, it offends no matter what one’s experiences.
This name, “Kim Kardashian” is fast becoming an obscenity. “Snookie” could easily be added for vulgarity.

Blame Martin Luther King for Affirmative Action. Not Nixon. It was King’s desire, utmost in his mind, the subject of many pamphlets particularly “Why We Can’t Wait” and pushed heavily by Rev. Ralph Abernathy after King’s assassination.
King’s reasoning was, that so much had been done wrong, to Black people, the only way to fix it was to … discriminate heavily against White people. For as long as it took until “naturally” Blacks achieved either parity or dominance economically and socially over Whites. Don’t take my word for it, read King’s works themselves. Your public library should have most of them.
This is mainstream Black thinking. It has been since the beginning of the Civil Rights movement. It was King’s goal (and others) from the start (and yes he basically lied to gullible White people who ate it up like a cheap and easy redemption in the “I Have a Dream Speech.”)
Since all that was a long time before mine, I could care less. Color my “raaaacccccisssssttttt!” if you like. Why should I care?
In this King was like … Otto Von Bismarck. Who practicing “revolutionary Conservatism” destroyed the fairly obscurantist Catholicism (his KulturKampf) and every other lay and secular institution that might challenge the Juncker class and Kaiser. To cast a more forgiving light on poor old Otto, he expected Wilhelm’s father Fredrick to reign for more than 99 days. The arrangement he put in in place would have probably worked better with a German emperor who had a brain larger than a walnut and who was not self concious about his withered arm. If Wilhelm did not come to the throne until 20 years later, things might have turned out a bit differently.

The difference between gays and straights is that straight men have to work for it (theoretically, in the olden days, before the sexual revolution, etc) because women are less willing than men, while gay men, who are all equally willing, don’t have to work for it and enjoy non-stop promiscuity.
Straight men are forced to accept the fact that women think diffeently than we do. This is part of the maturation process.

In the PC world of the left, until very recently, the only reason that blacks or any other group act in any other manner than as perfect nobles is that they have been “oppressed” by Europeans. Very recently the Chinese have also become retroactively “bad people” as they have abandoned “pure” Marxism.
This is obvious in such statements that racism is “prejudice plus power” (by no less an authority than the Episcopal Bishops). Those without sufficient power to knock the oppressive white man off his pedestal throughout the world CANNOT be racist. The first time I heard this phrase – about 60 years ago – it was said (intentionally in my hearing) by four black college kids at the U of Cincinnati campus. Another expressions – also a favorite of the blacks – is “The whiter they are the harder they fall” also alluding to white women’s supposed preference for sex with blacks. However, in the many countries I have lived in (Germany, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, and the Philippines) there is a general dislike for all things black among the native residents and the mayor of one German town I lived in officially asked the US Army to import some black prostitutes so the black soldiers would quit raping the German girls.
Oh yes, and one more thing: I think the proper slogan in re: Obama is “Once you’ve gone black – you’ll never go back.” After Obama’s performance (like the atrocious performance of the Mayors of DC, Detroit, etc, etc), any sane person would be particularly careful before voting for any black candidate.
How about:

Unfortunately for cities like Detroit, Chicago, Gary IN, Camden NJ, Oakland CA and others the sign seems to be true. Some of the worse run, most corrupt, most depressed cities are run by liberal blacks or have a majority black population. I don’t know if it’s a race thing or a ideology thing but it reinforces the stereotype, which is sad.
History is a funny thing. The current Republican party split from the democratic-republicans and formed the Republican party in 1857 it was, and always has been anti-slavery. The majority barely notice or grade people on race.
The democrats were the slave holders and in 1860 the party split. The had 2 presidential candidates Breckinridge and Douglas both racist but 1 went anti-slavery and they lost to the Republican candidate – Abraham Lincoln .
Democrats offered very little in originality,they were shamed by their Civil War loss and the horror of slavery,so they became heroes of their victims.
Underdogs ,victims and racism are big money emotional issues. It’s financed 3 generations and done it so well , it’s tripled the black population .
