In my last post, I pointed out the hip, edgy bigotry of HuffPo status-seeker Geoffrey “Pasty White” Dunn, who described Carmel, California, as “frighteningly white” to prove how hip and edgy and intelligent he is to his cultured readers. In light of some spirited comments from fine readers, including Fail Burton, I feel it’s important to point out that Dunn lives in frighteningly white Santa Cruz, California, where the 2010 Census puts whites at 74.5% of the population. Blacks, the lack of whose presence in Carmel made Dunn pasty white with anger, make up a mere 1.8% of Dunn’s community. Since whites account for 57.6% of the California population at large, and blacks 6.2%, Santa Cruz is therefore “disproportionately” white, and blacks are underrepresented. How does Dunn explain this? Is he willing to move away anytime soon to a more egalitarian community?
He could, for instance, move to Chevy Chase, Maryland, the place Chris Matthews calls home. Feel that tingle up your leg? That’s you wetting yourself with laughter after you learn that Matthews recently tried to pass off his town as “majority black” to give himself street cred to his six viewers. Who is more qualified to hear those racist dog whistles than someone who lives in a “majority black” town? Turns out the blonde idiot lives in an upscale suburb that’s nearly 87% white. Oops. You know, for a second, I almost forgot Chris Matthews was white.

And if Mr Dunn and Mr Matthews were really all that concerned with anything but their “street cred” they would be lobbying their respective town councils for outreach programs to get some “Urban Youth” into their communities. Then those frighteningly white folks could get mugged and robbed and carjacked and murdered like the folks in DC and Oakland. Put a stop to all that sanctimonious bucksnort in a biiiigg hurry.

I would bet that, if it wanted, Santa Cruz could have some urban poor bussed into its ‘frighteningly white’ schools. It could also set aside land for public housing and then open soup kitchens. I’m sure Mr Dunn would be the first to volunteer his time to help the needy.
This is exactly what I’ve been telling my wife’s Santa Cruz relatives for years. For some strange reason they don’t listen. Then they come to my city, eat my food, and criticize my living in a planned, gated community. But there is hope. The thieves, muggers and house burglars have pretty much done all the soft targets in the Central Valley and all those beautiful costal communities are buying deadbolts, installing alarms, and cleaning out all the easily saleable stuff from their cars and purses. Their time is coming. And they can’t say they weren’t warned.

Humans will soon have the ability to do DNA sequencing and gene splicing more than they do now, and we will be able to “tailor” people, if we so choose.
So….Since Mr. Dunn obviously feels that living in an essentially all-white town is an automatic disqualifier from participation in public affairs–”frightening”, as he put it–how would he view injecting African-American DNA into white infants so as to remove the stigma from them, based upon their color? This way they, even if they by chance grow up in all-white areas, will not have cause to feel as outcasts. What say Mr. Dunn?

Carmel is also one of the most beautiful spots in the world. I wonder if that has anything to do with house prices being high.
Carmel was a FABULOUS place to pick up easy girls in the early 70s too:) Santa Cruz has become a small piece of LA on the North coast now as all the trees have been raped from the town and 4 lane streets are all over the place. Used to go there often in the 70s thru early 80s to visit family there but seldom go there now and the tone of the place now sucks!
So Tweety McTingles says his town is majority black, eh? Which proves that Tweety is racist: He sees one black guy and thinks to himself, “Man they’re everywhere.”

The silliy thing is that America is “frighteningly white” with whites accounting for over 80% of the population. I find it galling that self-hating whites think they’re doing something novel when all they’re doing is proving their own ignorance.

How else to divert attentions from the pale faces, Dunn and Matthews?
In their hearts, they are so damned racist and looked down on people who don’t live in their posh neighborhoods that even they themselves are embarrassed so they have to over compensate in their talks to cover up their misdeeds and embarrassments, and inoculate themselves from their well-deserved racist charges.
Proofs: Matthews free associates blacks with food stamps, associated rapes with young blacks (e.g. the rapes of children that never occurred in the Superdome during Katrina, yet Matthews and the rest of the MSM breathlessly reported that as true. Who were sheltered in the Superdome? Blacks.)
Don’t ask, but the answer is: they have no sense of decency.
Simple. Santa Cruz is extremely liberal, so they have been granted the “indulgences” of the Wholey Liberal Church. Same with Marin County. It’s easy to be liberal when you don’t have to live under their policies.

I live in Santa Cruz. It is composed for the most part of wealthy white liberals who are serviced by poor Latinos who live in run down overcrowded housing or who travel into town from outside the city. Santa Cruz represents the new model of coastal California. Upscale patrons and impoverished peons. In that sense it resembles Caracas or Bogota.

‘frighteningly white’ is a term i have never heard used before. i have heard ‘frightened and white’, as applied to poor whites forced to live in certain areas. i have seen plenty of ‘whites frightened’ or ‘frightened whites’. see it every day, all over the place, especially since the unifier took office. the only time this place gets ‘frighteningly white’ is when it (rarely) snows hard or the roads get covered with ice and southerners like me start driving in it.

Has anyone checked the election results of 2008 for Carmel,CA. Bet it went big for the Lightworker. Look at the county map for each state. Just about all blue for any county within 10 miles of an ocean except down south. Dunn is full of it.
