Biden to North Carolina crowd: “He’s gonna put y’all back in chains.”

Mr. Biden also told the crowd that if they get out the vote, “we can win North Carolina again.” Danville is close to the North Carolina border, but it is in fact in Virginia.

(1) y’all is southern for “you people”. Just saying
(2) not one of the people in his audience has ever been in chains. Not ever. Not them and not their parents and not one of their grand parents.
(3) if anyone holds these people in psychological “chains”, it’s the Democrat Party. These people are as brainwashed (see the Stockholm Syndrome) as Patty Hearst.

It was the Democrats who supported slavery. It was Democrats who turned fire hoses and police dogs on civil rights protestors. It was Democrats who enacted the infamous Jim Crow laws. It was Democrats who created the KKK. It was Democrats who mandated school segregation.
Look, the people of Danville know when they are being pandered to. Biden using the threatning language of racism to stir up black folk will not hold water. The thing that gets me is the people of southwestern Virginia are hurting folk and for him to use this type of language offends me to no end. And then, to not know where the heck he is, well it is just outrageous. This administration is the one putting chains on people of color. Trust me, this is a major gaffe by Biden in relation to the black community. He went way too far.

Um, I may find myself on Joebiden’s side on this, which is apparently his response to Romney saying he wants to unchain the banks. If indeed Romney said that (and I hesitate to believe anything any Democrat claims), then that’s a massively stupid thing for anyone to say after 2008, and double-stupid for someone in Romney’s position to say, and Joebiden’s response would be entirely appropriate.
Joe Biden and “classy”? – You gotta be kidding. – “Class” requires brains. Nuff said!
