Q: How can you tell the difference between “Chicago values” and Chick-Fil-A values?
A. Chick-Fil-A values don’t lead to a round of indictments.
CHICAGO (AP) — A federal grand jury has formally indicted a former Chicago alderman and a former Cook County commissioner for alleged corruption.
Thursday’s 10-count indictment accuses the former alderman, Ambrosio Medrano, and the one-time commissioner, Joseph Moreno, of trying to accept kickbacks in schemes that included selling bandages to public hospitals.

Is Joe Moreno the former commissioner now under indictment possibly related to Joe Moreno the Alderman who refuses to allow Chick-fil-A to open a new franchise in his ward? It’s a common enough last name to be sure, but I have to wonder. That’s because in true Chicago fashion Alderman Moreno did not earn his sit by first winning an election. He was appointed alderman by Mayor Daley in 2010 when his predecessor was kick upstairs to head the state Commerce Commission and then ran as the incumbent last year. One does not get appointed alderman unless one has political connections up the wazoo and will be a good little team player.
You’d be amazed at how many of Chicago’s alderman were first appointed to the job and are about as independent of the Mayor as a newborn marsupial is of its mother’s pouch. That’s one way a system that is weak mayor on paper has been run as a one man show for decades now.
It has been implied, but not yet proven, that Moreno the alderman tried to elicit a bribe from Chik-fil-a, and was rebuffed. It never was about gay marriage. That latter issue became a convenient weapon for retaliation.
Chicago Values: Bill Ayers.
Chik-fil-A values are all wrong, but they have the anti-Semite Louis Farrakhan and his fruit of the loom Islam marching through the streets (doesn’t Islam have a viewpoint on homosexuality??? Anyone want to guess what it is?).
The Gay movement is one whose sole aim is to decimate everything Judeo-Christian in America. It is patently a revolutonary movement whose sole purpose is to impose alternate sets of morality and values on all Americans. Here’s the proof:
At the turn of the century (1900’s), in the USA, radical progressivism was evolving as a cult with its followers mostly in academe and entertainment sectors of America’s culture. Two major urban areas at that time were experiencing LGBT activism – New York and Los Angeles. In New York, LGBT activists united with far left professors, and social organizers in order to move their agenda’s forward. Individual LGBT’ers in New York were swept up in this effort, joining and uniting their like minded fringe LGBT’ers into a united front. Since they were in Higher educations Liberal Arts departments around New York, this fed into both stage and an infant celluloid industry out in both New York and later Los Angeles.
One prominent LGBT activist uniting all these diverse forces was Vito Russo (he contracted HIV/AIDS in 1985, passing away in 1990). He created print and film advocating and expanding LGBT philosophy to both East and West coast academic and entertainment meccas. Since LGBT was a fringe activist movement in the 1900’s, and ultra progressivism was a marxist/leninist radical movement, the tendency for these two nascent forces to unite was irresistable. Therefore, out of two fringe movements of the 1900’s, today, LGBT has morphed and consolidated into the Gay Movement-having its philosophical underpinnings as a marxist/leninist dominated social/political movement.
Milwaukee’s “The Gay People’s Union” is an academically centered LGBT organization, created around LGBT’s Progressivist theme, but with a softer edge. A lot of the hard line activism of New York’s and Los Angeles’ “edgy” LGBT movement was incorporated into some of its “edgyness,” discarding most of the hard line progressivism.
Today, a constellation of Hollywood, Los Angelinos and San Franciscans as well as New Yorker “Illuminati” have become apologists for “The Celluloid Closet.” This Lily Tomlin(actress) produced and executed movie in memory of Vito Russo, is LGBT’ers Bible (as is the book). Print magazines like “The Advocate” are constant reminders LBGT Movement (Gay Movement) is both a political and social cancer America has allowed to spread throughout every level of her political and societal livelyhood. God Save America, she’s on life support. Amen.
