The Council on Islamic Relations never rests in its mission to smear and defame any public figure who speaks out against Islamist terrorism. In its latest campaign, the group is trying to persuade the Pentagon to severe its relationship with former CIA operative Reza Kahlili. Kahlili frequently writes for PJ Media and the PJ Tatler.
WASHINGTON, July 23, 2012 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ — The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) today called on the Department of Defense (DoD) to drop an anti-Islam lecturer at the Joint Counterintelligence Training Academy (JCITA) in Elkridge, Md., who wrote on an Islamophobic hate site that he “renounced Islam and began the quest to find the real God.” (reza kahlili:”Why I Renounce Islam and Choose Christ)(reza kahlili:” WND)(reza kahlili:8/24/11)
That lecturer, “Reza Kahlili,” a pseudonym for a man who says he is a former CIA operative in Iran, also claims that Iranian agents are “coordinating operations out of [American] mosques and Islamic centers,” that Iran already has nuclear weapons, and that Iranian agents have infiltrated the United States through the “Muslim Brotherhood’s Muslim Students Association.” (Daily Caller, 7/22/12; Washington Times, 10/27/11, Los Angeles Times, 7/6/12, American Thinker, 2/23/12)
A program coordinator for Iran instruction at JCITA confirmed to the Los Angeles Times that Kahlili is a paid lecturer for the DoD-chartered academy. His lectures are audio-only, allegedly to protect his identity. The newspaper called Kahlili “one of the most influential and outspoken voices in the U.S. advocating the overthrow of the Iranian government.”
“This is yet another unfortunate example of our nation’s military and counterterrorism personnel being trained by individuals who weaken America’s security by promoting their own religious and political agendas,” wrote CAIR national Executive Director Nihad Awad in a letter sent to Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta.
CAIR is focusing its criticism of Kahlili on the fact that he is now a Christian. CAIR should have no influence on any US policy, anywhere, anytime. CAIR has strong connections to the Muslim Brotherhood through the terrorist group Hamas, and was an unindicted co-conspirator in the massive Holy Land Foundation terror funding trial.
Terrorism expert and author Kenneth Timmerman has written a letter to Defense Secretary Leon Panetta defending Kahlili from CAIR’s attack. In the letter, Timmerman says “Reza Kahlili risked his life for many years on America’s behalf as an agent of the Central Intelligence Agency inside Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps. For CAIR to attack him solely on the basis of his conversion to Christianity is outrageous and reveals the totalitarian, supremacist nature of this organization. Such an attack has no place in an America that still respects our first freedom — the freedom of religion.” Timmerman’s full letter to Secretary Panetta is here.
CAIR spokesman Ibrahim Hooper has said the following about religion in America:
“I wouldn’t want to create the impression that I wouldn’t like the government of the United States to be Islamic sometime in the future,” he told the Minneapolis Star Tribune in a 1993 interview. “But I’m not going to do anything violent to promote that. I’m going to do it through education.”
Ten years later, in 2003, Hooper stated that if Muslims were ever to become a numerical majority in the U.S., they would likely seek to replace the Constitution with Islamic law (Sharia), which they view as divinely inspired and thus superior to all other legal systems.

Nearly 12 years after September Eleven I have to watch all this.
And I have to watch the GOP attacking Bachmann.
And I have to watch the State Dept. supporting the Muslim Brotherhood.
I am disgusted.
I’m joining you.
This is my pasted comment earlier on PJM’s Ronald Goldman’s article on Syria and the complexities there:
” 35. Charlie Griffith
Thanks…..
…..”32. David Gillies”……
And, permit me to repeat your tersely accurate:
“Arab Nationalists being beastly to Islamists. Al Qaeda proxies being beastly to Iranian proxies. Alawite oppressors killing Sunni Islamic supremacists. The ayatollahs nervously looking at their likely fate.”
We should encourage this intra-AND-inter-Muslim theological double-think-hypocrisy issuing from the mouths and edges of the scimitars of these peaceful Muslims and ought to be encouraging its widest broadcast and application; then we Infidels should stand by…alertly…. and observe the skillful wordplay in English to see just how the Muslim apologists work their way around these word games.
Then, see how the same is played out in Arabic.
Beasts clawing and chewing up their “Brother” beasts. Where’s their “moderation”?…..where’s their “religion of Peace”?
Call me Disgusted.

What particularly disgusts me is our current “administration”‘s ostrich-feathers-fluttering-in-the-air politically correct approach to the continuing war which the Muslims themselves repeatedly stress they’ve declared against us Americans.
I forget the name of the website, not appropriate to push it here anyway, but there is a neat bumper sticker out saying in red letters…”ANTI-CAIR…protect the Constitution”. Google around, it’s out there.
We should all pay close attention to whatever the former CIA man has to say. Such informed guys in very short supply. We mustn’t let these Obama naifs continue their pro-Muslim kowtowing.
Now during their Ramadan season is a good time to call them out on their B.S. “Them” being the Muslims and our current “administration”.
Go ahead and “educate” us, Hooper. I’ve found that the more Westerners know about the real Islam and sharia law, the less they like it.
I have some question to you personally, compose to these I don’t e-mail
