Aurora Mass Murderer’s Self-Description of His Political Views Revealed
TMZ found the shooter's Match.com profile.
July 22, 2012 - 9:12 am
Apparently the shooter is a “No Labels” kind of guy. TMZ found his Match.com page:

The profile also describes his religious views as “agnostic” — not uncommon for a science-minded, Ph.D. student.
TMZ earlier uncovered a profile on AdultFriendFinder.Com revealing the shooter sought casual sex hook-ups.

…so instead of blaming the Tea Party, we can now expect ABC News to blame the shootings on Michael Bloomberg and David Frum?
middle of what road?
Me thinks that what this a$$hole believes are “middle of the road” political beliefs, others will more quickly ascribe to some point far from that “middle of the road” claim.
The profile is perfectly ordinary for a 24 year old male.
There’s still a big piece missing here somewhere. It could be anything: drugs, schizophrenia, hidden child abuse. Nothing in the publicly available data at the moment points to a mass murderer. It will come out eventually, but it’s not out yet.
Or….. he could just be an evil f***er.
Assigning a mental illness label to evil behavior is not a clinical judgment, it is an ideological one. It’s the kind of thinking that, taken to its extreme, ends in gulags and reeducation camps for those who oppose the “Right Thinking” statists. This is not a theory, it is recent history.
I’ve got a mental-illness label for this guy: Psychopath, predatory-type.
(But as a licensed mental health professional, your comment about labels being ideological is well-taken – that is, unless one considers the DSM as gospel from the mount.)
Why isn’t obama being blamed? The lad couldn’t find a job even though he graduated with highest honors. He had to take a job a McDonalds, then decided to enter graduate school, later dropping out for reasons not yet explained. He sought casual uncommitted sex with women he didn’t know.
All of these factors, virtually everything known about the young man so far, have been established by the liberal contamination of the world view of normal normal young men.
High unemployment. Insistance that college is necessary whether or not there is employment for college graduates. Leftist cost spiral for college costs as marxist professors achieve “tenure” (thus also shutting young scholars out of the ability to make a living in academia); federal takeover of student loans; federal con game claiming $40 annual savings on student loans actually benefits young people, while life crippling indebtedness is encouraged. OWS attacks job creators and receives direct praise and encouragement from the president of the United States. Leftist policies encourage casual sex and dependence of women on government rather than encouraging formation of bonds with men and formation of family units. Out-of-wedlock, no male-required births skyrocket, depriving young men of their most important role in life.
All obama policies contributing, perhaps dominating the shoooter’s frame of mind.
The political establishment has been marginalizing white heterosexual males – with prejudice – proudly since 1970. No doubt we could plug in the names of many of the disgruntled who went to the extreme other end ans came back shooting or bombing- two of them only 15 miles from Aurora at a local high school some years back. Of course it’s tempting to attach one evil to another as a way of explaining it all away, but it would be wrong. Evil is as evil does. Personal choices were made by an individual to commit evil, heinous, tragic acts of murder. Politics do not seem to be involved, just evil, selfish choices to make one’s self the center of the world’s attention for a mere 15 minutes of fame.
What does the bible say of the ultimate fate of Judas? “He went to his own place.” That is hell my friends…. to choose ourselves with such resolved commitment and disregard for any *other* at all… that we are all that matters in all the universe. The “other” is a mere prop with which to glorify ourselves, even if the other must die… for there is no suffering but our suffering, and the world must know.
I recommend a book, “People of the Lie” by Scott Peck for some of the best insight into evil in the non-fiction genre.
Of course Obamee’s policies are to blame. By all accounts this monster was the perfect liberal: Worshiping at the altar of science, deep into ivory tower academia, casual sex and no consequences, and dependent on others for providing his happiness for him.
Over the last decade I’ve read the interview notes from dozens exactly like him for job applications. I can spot the type a mile off, and as hiring manager and owner of my consultant business before I retired recently (thanks Obamee!) these were exactly the types I tossed in “File 13″. Technically qualified, but without any sort of value system.
People like that are poison in any environment.
Authorities At A Loss To Explain Where A Man, Who Says He Is A Batman Villain, Who Re-Enacted A Scene From A Batman Comic Book By Shooting Up A Theater, Which Was Showing A Batman Movie Filled With Mass Murders, Got His Inspiration /a>
HIs mom wasn’t surprised. This wasn’t his first rodeo. Just the first time he went completely over the edge.
Clearly, with these revelations, we can now safely conclude “The Atlantic” magazine is the source of all evil in this nation and is something all right-thinking persons can denounce….
This is irrelevant. I don’t think anything he put on this website means anything or is even necessarily true. Obviously, if he is looking to meet women, he is going to put “Middle of the Road” to play it safe. He’s not there for politics, so he’s not going to put anything that might turn off lots of women. Suppose he does have extreme views? (and I’m not suggesting he does at this point) Do you think he’s going to go on a “meet-women” site and put “Committed Marxist” or “Hard-core Tea Partier” and probably turn off at least half the women on there? This menas nothing. What I want to know is why his mother said “You’ve got the right guy”.
She didn’t say that. She said, “You have the right person,” when they asked if she was Holmes’s mother.
I said yesterday, sometimes these graduate students get a little strange, if they don’t get what they want, and have worked so hard for. Back in the day (20-25 years ago) there was a guy released from prison here in California. He murdered his dissertation supervisor because the guy wouldn’t recommend him for his doctorate, which the guy (of course) felt he deserved. Never expressed any remorse, when he was released from prison he was still insisting that what he’d done morally justified.
I’ll grant you that the situations are somewhat different, in that the guy in my example didn’t murder random people, but still…There’s obviously something else going on here, as others have observed. Until we read interviews with the guy, and there’s some analysis (which some of us will no doubt disagree with), we won’t know what was actually going on. I think it’s useless to try and figure this sort of thing out, with the paucity of information we have right now.
will pick up vibes from others like himself, and when one of them is the president, they come in loud and clear
Perhaps Holmes is mentally ill or maybe he is evil. In either case he is obviously caught up in the Batman story. He seems to believe that the fiction is real or that he can make the fiction real.
I am reminded of academics who teach the bogus notion that reality is a social contract. For them truth and reality lie in the social “narrative.” Real reality may be ignored as irrelevant.
Apparently Holmes, a Ph. D. student at a respectable university, cannot distinguish between fiction and reality. He has now made himself part of the Batman “narrative.”
truth is stranger than fiction, and real live violence more terrible
Well…we know that he had dropped out of a PhD program. Can we attribute his actions to the effects of higher education???
Trying to discern the motivation of this assailant, at least at this time, is an exercise in wild speculation, based upon imaginative supposition, and very little factual information.
The association with The Dark Knight, various allusions to the Joker, as well as claims to be the Joker, his alteration of his appearance, and some Batman paraphernalia in his apartment suggest some identification, possibly delusional, with the Joker.
It’s interesting that Heath Ledger, who developed the character of the Joker for the previous film, described the Joker as a “psychopathic, mass-murdering, schizophrenic clown with zero empathy”, (http://www.nytimes.com/2007/11/04/movies/moviesspecial/04lyal.html) a very accurate description of the behavior of James Holmes.
It’s likely that we will eventually learn that Holmes has undergone a psychotic deterioration to schizophrenia over the last few months, accounting for his academic failure, and his calamitous actions, very reminiscent of the Joker’s.
The main thing I’m curious about is what was his motive? People don’t just wake up and decide to kill a whole bunch of people while turning their apartment into a deathtrap. Publicity as an infamous monster? Power over the lives of other like some dark god? Desire to play a role like the Joker? Revenge on society for some imagined sleight? There is nothing that could justify being a mass murderer of innocent civilians, but there had to be something that kept him moving toward his evil acts.
I blame David Brooks and Mayor Bloomberg, who have turned faux “moderation” into the kind of seething rage that animated this monster.

This is weird. Very little background on this guy, it’s like his profile has been scrubbed so that there isn’t any way to see what motivated him. Also, where did he get $15K – plus to get all the stuff he had? False flag? A way to justify signing the UN Arms Treaty???
