Was “John Galt” an Egyptian-American? From the days of Pharaos? Just hopped off a time-machine? — You know he did build one, in “Galt’s Gulch”, don’t you?
Anyway, according to fearless leader, he “didn’t do it alone”. DARPA helped. Fearless leader, commanding. The rest is — The New Narrative!
You know, I never built a business on my own (unless you count my little artsy-craftsy sideline). But I worked for nearly forty years for other businesses, and even a state university (yes, yes, public service of a kind). I am highly offended that President Obama seems to think none of my efforts mattered because I traveled on roads and bridges built by “others” (apparently with tax dollars that I also paid), sheltered in buildings that “others” built, ate food that “others” provided (that I had to buy), wore clothing that “others” created … what’s the point of going on? Barack Obama is an economics moron.
In that speech in Virginia, Obama denigrated ANYONE who is successful, including people like you.
It’s the business angle that’s getting the press, but in that speech he really dismissed the achievements of pretty much…. everyone.
His supporters say he was quoted out of context- but honestly, they’re doing us a favor when they draw attention to the entirety of what he had to say, because the rest of it is even worse.
Obama’s Choom dealer didn’t do it himself; someone else got the seed, another grew the dope, a third person harvested and cured it, a fourth person drove it to the secluded rendezvous where the dealer obtained it and sold it to his friends. And then someone packed a bowl and lit it and Obama “intercepted” the bowl.
So, yes, based on his early experience with “family” agribusiness, it’s not surprising that he’d think that someone else did all the work.
Going from memory, a scene from _Atlas Shrugged_. Many errors are all mine, it’s been years since I read it.
Someone is talking to a top-tier producer.
“Would you build your business, knowing that (other top producer) could use your product to also reach new heights?”
“Oh heck yes!”
“Would you build you business for (secondary character, hard worker but not genius), who would use your product to increase his productivity, and go home every day with a smile, thinking how your product has enriched him?
Softly, “Yes, I would”.
“Would you build your business for someone who despises you, thinks you owe them the product of your work just because you can produce it, condemns the fruit of your labor with a sneer, all while benefiting from it?”

Great Photoshop — Thanks !!!
Remember November!
Imagine an entire economy based on a government program that pays people to pile rocks so that a dictator can go to heaven.
If it walks like a commie, quacks like a commie, surrounds itself with commies, writes poems to commies…
“Least among us” by Obama, his wife and Biden becomes much clearer. Talk about code – that’s code.
Is this another competition?
I’ve got to go to a baseball game tonight, but now my back channel will be churning up ideas.
Good.
Baseball has lots of down time.
It’s not a “competition” per se, but rather just a Web site some folks quickly set up to feature Photoshops mocking Obama’s speech.

Obama sets new standards for mental mastaba-tion.
Now that was really a Cheops-hot.
Tut Tut, you two; it’s not like he’s trying to Ram zese policies down our throats or anything.
All three of you need to go to your rooms.
That’s right! Let my people go to their rooms!
The PJMedia comments are the greatest comments in the world!!!!
You are all in De-Nile.
Amenhotep to that!

With a snarl, “I’d burn my factory first!”
