My tour of Israel continues with the Young Jewish Conservatives. Today we had the opportunity to meet with Gil Hoffman — the Chief Political Correspondent of the Jerusalem Post. He told us that U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s trip to Israel in a few days is because the “Palestinians are afraid of Mitt” and understand that he has a good chance of winning the election. The Palestinians are worried that a potential President Romney, who is scheduled to visit Israel soon, as well, will be much harder on them, and therefore believe that now is the time to draw as many concessions out of Israel as they can while the equivocating Obama is still in office. Apparently the Palestinians made a gesture to Clinton to get the ball rolling.
However, the Palestinians should not hold their breath. Mr. Hoffman explained to us that Israel only makes concessions (which usually takes the form of giving up land) under three different circumstances. First, is if there is a charismatic American president that Israel trusts and reveres (for example, Bill Clinton when Netanyahu gave up Hebron during his first stint as Prime Minister); next is if there is a trustworthy Arab leader (such as Egyptian Leader Sadat, when Israel gave up the Sinai); and lastly, a unilateral withdrawal that Israel thinks is in their best interest (such as the pull out from Gaza).
According to Mr. Hoffman, none of these circumstances apply now as Israel does not trust Obama or the Palestinian leadership, and are in no mood to give up land after the Gaza disengagement led to a Hamas take over and rockets pouring onto its southern border.

After four years of the most sympathetic, pro-Palestinian, ant-Israel American administration in History, I suppose the possibility of a truly pro-Israeli American presidency has their collective little arab buttholes just a puckering……The only chance they (Hamas-Hezbollah-Arab Spring-Muslim Brotherhood) had of American support for a Palestinian shakedown of Israel (think Rainbow-PUSH Coalition style a la Rev. Jackson) is over forever when we show our “Mooslim-in-Chief” the door this November- then it will not matter what position you had in this administration or how many times you visited the White House.
It will take years to undo the damage you have already caused, but it will be corrected. This administration’s “sympathies” include the purging of any potential “anti-arab” language or steroetyping in FBI/DOD/HS training manuals, sensitivity training, and the whole enchilada of leftist horsesh*t that accompanies EVERY liberal administration. It took almost eight years to fix the damage done by Clinton’s stupid-*ss bungling and meddling in the affairs of the CIA and DOD and we still had not replaced the humint lost during his tenure. Obama has done exponentially more damage but at least he will only have one term – thank God.
Hey PJM Tatler…have you seen the numbers for the swing states Romney desperately needs to win and he’s already trailing in, including his ‘home’ state of Michigan and Ohio which tends to determine whether a Republican wins or loses historically? Are you sure Crazy Old Uncle Ron or even Santorum couldn’t have done better? At least he’d discuss the stuff that Obama’s doing that’s actually got people so creeped out. Mittens just tells us the tax is not a tax or is it?

The MSM is frantically flailing about trying to cover up the corruption of this criminal regime, but the truth is getting out and by November ANYBODY could beat Obama, even Romney. The trickle of information is going to become a flood when lower level peons start talking to keep themselves out of prison. Right now everybody is just trying to figure out how much Issa knows and what kind of deal can they make. The leaders of the black AME Churches just came out strongly criticizing Obama….that’s big.
