Nancy Pelosi, one-trick pony:
Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said Republicans are investigating Eric Holder because they want to distract him from stopping voter suppression laws.
Note to Politico, which is reporting this story: The “voter suppression laws” Pelosi is referring to are voter ID laws, which have been upheld as constitutional and have been shown to increase the share of minority voters in Indiana. Politico’s line grossly misinforms its readers.
The argument from the California Democrat is quite unique [to say the least -bp], as the party’s argument has long been that the attorney general has provided enough documentation in the gun-walking investigation, and Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) is on a witch hunt.
Pelosi took it in a new direction during a 30-minute press conference, when she also lambasted Republicans as intransigent and unfit to govern.
“Contempt of Congress, contempt of Congress,” Pelosi said. “To frivolously use that really important vehicle to undermine the person who is assigned to stop the voter suppression in our country. I’m telling you, this is connected. It is no accident. It is a decision and it is as clear as can be. It’s not only to monopolize his time, it’s to undermine his name. To undermine his name, undermine his name, as he goes forward to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”
She ain’t sayin’ it’s aliens, but it’s aliens.
It is incredible what an outstanding intellectual lightweight this woman is. It surely not reflects well on her voting supporters in her congresssional district….

Let’s all take comfort in the fact that all these strident, nutty pronouncements by leading Democrats mean that they know the F&F cat is out of the bag. They can no longer contain it. Also, the goofiness of these defenses of Holder and Obama show that Democrats and the MSM were unprepared for the breakout. They had no “Plan B.”

As of April 2011 Nancy Pelosi had changed her status in Congress’ Progressive Caucus (ex:Democratic socialists), whom Rep. Allen West had denounced as having 82 communist members (get this, in the US House of Representatives), and she [along with her 81 other Representatives] having signed a covenant adhering to the principles espoused by the former Demoractic socialists (read:marxist/leninists) – to “inactive” from “active.” This she did after the 2010 elections. Question: can an avowed marxist/leninist be trusted to enact legislation in the best interests of We The People? You decide!
In order to help ones decision-making here are a few aids:
1) As House Speaker, she performed ‘insider trading” with priviledged information about VISA (she proctered in a committee hearing)and how it would impact negatively on her existing stock portfolio.
2) Then there was the “sweetheart” deal she schemed for and managed to pull off for her spouse,..something similiar to her ex-congressional cohort Mr. Dodd and
3) the highest number of waivers in any single county in the USA for Obamacare.
4) Remember, Tony Rescko (obama’s close associate back in Chicago days-now doing time in the slammer) was part and parcel of this “moving money around” scheme, too
Is this Greed and Power personified or what? Tough choice isn’t it?
Oh! Almost forgot! And Obama and his friends in Chicago’s South side aiding and abeting Progressive “anti-redlining” drives for expansion of subprime loans (which ultimately -in 2007/08, were responsible for America’s worse financial disaster) while he was in Nancy Pelosi’s Congress as then US Senator Obama.
