In he first half of the clip, taken from Biden’s speech in Ohio Wednesday, the vice president pines for an America where everybody “plays by the same rules.” Is that why President Obama’s drunk driving, illegal alien uncle was able to get his drivers license back? Is that why the New Black Panthers case was dropped by the DOJ? Is that why Obama cronies keep getting taxpayer loans and grants? Because we’re all “playing by the same rules.”
In the second half of the clip, Biden starts shouting like Howard Dean on Red Bull with a NOS chaser.
BIDEN: I resent when they talk about families like mine when I grew up in! I resent the fact that they think we’re talking about we’re envy, it’s job envy, it’s wealth envy, that we don’t dream! My mother believed and my father believed that if I wanted to be president of the United States, I could be, I could be vice president! My mother and father believed that if my brother or sister wanted to be a millionaire, they could be a millionaire! My mother and father dreamed as much as any rich guy dreams! They don’t get us! They don’t get who we are!
If Biden isn’t speaking out of envy and resentment, then who are the “they” who believe such awful things about him? And what was President Obama’s attack on corporate jets, and what is his Buffett Rule, all about, if not the very envy and resentment that Biden exhibits in the clip?
The man is losing it. That’s a good sign that he and his campaign are going off the rails.
