House Democrats are getting formal training in the best practices of tossing out racial slurs. That’s not to say that racial smears don’t come to Democrats naturally. Clearly, they do. From the Ku Klux Klan (founded by Democrats, for Democrats) to today, the Democrats have put race front and center of many policy debates. They’re just getting training on refining how they use their natural racial dishonesty. Think of it as a race-baiting finishing school.
House Democrats received training this week on how to raise the issue of race to defend government programs, according to training materials obtained by The Washington Examiner.
The prepared content of a Tuesday presentation to the House Democratic Caucus and staff indicates that Democrats will seek to portray apparently neutral free-market rhetoric as being charged with racial bias, conscious or unconscious.
So if you espouse economic freedom, you’re a racist now. Even if, as the trainer acknowledges, race isn’t your intent.
As samples of race-coded rhetoric, Wiley reminded the Democrats of statements by Republican presidential candidates Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich. Of Gingrich’s famous comment about President Obama, her distributed remarks note, “Calling a Black man ‘the food stamp president’ is not a race-neutral statement, even if Newt Gingrich did not intend racism.”
Rational thinking: Also racist.
Wiley, who did not respond to the Examiner’s inquiries yesterday, offered this warning to Democrats about talking to “someone [who] opposes racial justice” but could support Democratic policies: “Don’t make the mistake of telling them they’re in the problem. It’s emotional connection, not rational connection that we need.”
This training is proof of quite a few things — notably, that the Democrats are the racist party — but also that accusations of racism will literally never go away. That trainer is making money off of race baiting, as have Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and other before her. As long as they can make money on racism, they’ll keep it alive.
If anything has the ability to make me a racist, it is tactics like this. And it is incumbent upon blacks to call bullshit on this and put an end to it. They are the only ones with the power to stop it.
I say this as a man who was raised without a racist bone in his body and I say it sincerely and passionately. They need to knock this shit off.
Don’t hold your breath while you wait. The Democrats are addicted to the use of racial slanders to cow their opponents. They’re one-trick fighters, and that’s the trick. Which is actually to conservatives’ advantage, as Americans generally are as resentful of the practice as are you and I.
Incidentally, a one-trick fighter is easy meat for anyone with two. The only thing you have to avoid is letting that one trick put you on the defensive. You have to shrug it off without even acknowledging it, and counterattack without a second thought.
This is pure Alinsky, employing rules 1, 2, 3, 6, 8, 10, 11, and 13. Maybe a bit from all the others, as well.
1. “Power is not only what you have, but what the enemy thinks you have.” (We are the enemy in their minds and they know that Republicans cower at the mere suggestion that they are racists, the end result being that they retreat and shut up)
2. “Never go outside the expertise of your people. (Democrats are experts are hurling the race card whether no matter what race they claim to be)
3. “Whenever possible, go outside the expertise of the enemy. (We still believe that the goal is a color blind society with equal opportunity for all, which is not the goal of the left.)
6. “A good tactic is one your people enjoy.” (No question that Democrats LOVE race baiting.)
8. “Keep the pressure on, with different tactics and actions, and utilize all events of the period for your purpose.” (When Occupy fails. Go to Gay Marriage. When Gay Marriage fails, go to Race Baiting.)
10. “The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition. It is this unceasing pressure that results in the reactions from the opposition that are essential for the success of the campaign.” (Looks for all of the above in Rule 8 and as it becomes more and more apparent that Democrats and Obama are losing, look for the pressure to increase, the rhetoric to become more hysterical and physical violence to ensue.)
11. “If you push a negative hard and deep enough, it will break through into its counterside… every positive has its negative.” (Self explanatory.)
13. Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it. (Don’t kid yourself. Mitt Romney isn’t the real target. YOU ARE. The goal will be to frighten you into not discussing politics and the failure of the Democrats in public or private leading up to the election. The goal is to keep you from putting a bumpersticker on your car or a sign in your yard. For to do that will invite the hideous charge that you are a racist. The only way they win is for you to fear opposing THE ONE. Just ask poor Mr. Vandersloot in Idaho. Yes, he spoke with his contributions, but look for these intimidation tactics to intensify.)
