Chris Salcedo filed this eye-opening report for KTVT TV news in Dallas. The key part is at 2:13, when the county registrars admit that they can’t verify that all votes cast in their counties were cast by legal citizens.
The Democrats argue against voter ID, saying that voter impersonation never happens. Whether they’re right about that or not, and they’re probably not, is beside the point: Voter ID is about securing the franchise for legal US citizens, and making sure our elections are clean and fair. Democrats from Barack Obama on down seem to have a problem with that.
The Texas law that Eric Holder’s DoJ is challenging was based on a similar Indiana law. That law was also challenged, and was upheld by the US Supreme Court in 2009, by a vote of 6-3. Holder is also challenging a similar law passed by South Carolina.
Then the democrats are pretty ignorant. Because Tucson has gone to mail in ballet. My ballet was stolen out of my mail box or from the post office (i do not know which), so I went to my voter precinct and after giving my name they said I had already voted. I said no, I have not because i did not receive my ballet in the mail. I had to sign a wavier saying that I did not already vote and that this vote was the correct one. I do not know who took it but it is not right. I have earned my right to vote. Of course the democrats don’t mind if the illegals are voting because the democrats are the ones who do not mind them being illegal- staying on all of the free assistance programs taking all of the hard working tax paying Americans citizens money. But most of us American citizens do not want them voting illegally. They do not deserve to vote. If they want to vote they need to get their visas and do it legally.
The part that makes no sense, as the reported decision, is Texas failed to show it was not discriminatory. Shouldn’t the Federal Government have to show how it WAS discriminatory? Of course, they couldn’t. You need a valid ID to drive, cash checks, get welfare, get food stamps, etc, etc, etc.
This just a dodge to allow voter fraud. Our president is a crook, period.
