Nobody's Home at the Sanctum Santorum

With exit polls showing Rick Santorum tied for third (aka last) in the South Carolina primary, few people – other than media – are showing up for his primary night party at The Citadel, not even many cadets who have finished their homework. Is this the end of Sanctorum’s quixotic run for the presidency? We have yet to hear from the man himself who has not appeared here yet. (Bryan Preston and I are standing by.)

Regarding the triumphant Newt, everyone waits with the proverbial bated breath to see if he can be gracious and presidential in victory. If so, he may go a long way to convincing us that there is a New Newt. If not, it’s the same old Newtness.
