Brady Campaign Propaganda Takes a Hit
(Hat tip to Keep and Bear Arms.)
Guns in the home are dangerous; just call the police!!!
Police believe that James Green of Fort Worth planned to burglarize a house, but the woman homeowner, who had moved in recently with her husband, was home, too. When Green began knocking on the front door, she called her husband, who was out of town. He told her to get their gun. She did and called the police. Green entered through the back door before the cops arrived and entered her bedroom, whereupon she shot him. He died in the hospital.
Hey Brady! That’s one woman not raped and murdered.
Guns in the workplace are dangerous!!!
A Wendy’s employee was cleaning up after closing, when “two men with masks” entered and forced him into the back office at gunpoint. After stealing the money, they left. The employee armed himself and followed them outside. Police say one of the robbers turned and pointed his gun at the employee, whereupon he was shot and killed.
Hey Brady! Can you guarantee robbers will let a witness live?
It’s not safe for children to have access to guns!!!
Two teenagers in Henderson, North Carolina were home alone when two men attempted a home invasion. One of the teens shot one intruder in the chest with a shotgun; he died in the hospital. The accomplice is wanted for a November 14 break-in. Police say no charges will be filed against the teens or their parents.
Hey Brady! That’s two teenagers alive because they knew how to operate a shotgun.
A potential of four lives were saved by safe and effective firearms handling skills. No evidence has ever shown the Brady Campaign arriving in time to save anybody.
It’s been a tough year for the Brady Campaign.

If all the newspapers would tell the truth about guns used in self-defense every day all over the country, there would be no gun-ban lobby.
They exist only because we are no longer a free country with a free press, we live under the dictatorship of media strictly trained at the commie party schools.
But it will change.
Well said! Dictatorship of the media,i never thought of it like that.I wonder what our founding fathers had to say about it? After all no one voted for the media. Its like ownership of the Courts when a large percentage of the Law schools and those involved are of the same view,as if all riders on a small boat leaned over the port(left)side were surprised when they all got wet!
When Seconds count, the police are only minutes away!
But I think the real kicker to this little ditty is this PJ Media article…

Always loved that saying!
Just a little note:
If you do have to defend life and property in your home from an invader who has NO RIGHT to be where he is, be certain that you Do Not Call the Police.
Call 911 and ask for MEDICAL ASSISTANCE!
That way when the perpatrator (in some cases backed by the ACLU) sues you for wrongful death you have it on record that when the Danger was Past, your first concern was for the Health and Safety of that Person unfortunate enough to be shot.
Not a problem.
Just make sure you empty the magazine into the criminal before you call 911.
You are a panicked civilian, after all.
Years ago my wife and I ran a small business. We worked long hours and had no days off. We would often work from 5am late into the evening. We also had a son. One evening when my son was about one year old, my wife stayed late at the business and I took our son home to bed. It was nine or so in the evening.
I put my son in a car seat on the passenger side of our nissan 2xs and started home. It was rainy and foggy and the traffic was bad. We had two traffic circles in town then, and I had to navigate through one of them. It was small and probably 50 years old so it could not handle the traffic of the day. One often had to stop at the entrance and wait significant times for an opening. That was the case for me that evening, with two cars in front of me and cars behind me.
Without warning there was a man standing next to the passenger door and he began hitting the window with his fist. He was screaming at me to open the door. He cursed me and ordered me to open the door repeatedly. I know he saw my son sitting in the passenger seat, a mere baby. He yanked on the door handle and beat on the window at the same time, all the while cursing, screaming and ordering me.
I had a Smith .357 tucked between the drivers seat and the console so that when I sat in the seat it was positioned as it would be were I wearing it in a holster. After the first few seconds of trying to move the car, which I could not, I pulled the pistol out, reached across the car and tapped the barrel on the passenger window, pointing it directly at his face as I did so.
Poof. He turned into a puff of smoke and was gone. I did not see where he went. I think he dropped to the ground and crawled away? I am not sure, but he did go away instantly. Visibility from inside the car was not good.
If I had not been wise enough to keep my doors locked, and especially if I were not wise enough to be armed, it is very likely that a good young man would not be about to graduate college.
There is no threat, no law, no fine, no argument that will get me to disarm. There is no argument that would replace my son if he were lost. No law that will replace a life lost. The anti-gun crowd can go sit on a sharp stick. I would trade them and everything they have to keep my family safe without hesitation.
I do not particularly like guns, and I choose not to own one. But I will fight to defend the constitution including the second amendment.
How many people are getting a 6 figure income from one head shot? If Mrs. Brady knew there was this much money in a wounded husband she just might have shot him herself. What do you mean this statement is not PC?
Check out this story that occurred yesterday. A friend and firearm instructor saved three children from drowning in a car flipped upside down in a river during winter. He used his firearm to shatter the car window after failed attempts to get the doors open and his knife (oh no! those are dangerous too!) to cut the children free of their seat belts.

RE: “Guns in the home are dangerous; just call the police!!”
One thing that frustrates me is there are all kinds of statistics regarding people who had a gun turned against them in a home invasion situation (even though they are rare) but there is noplace to find the statistics on the following type of story, but you can find lots and lots of the incidents.
http://www.buckeyefirearms.org/node/5549
It would be nice if someone would compile how many people die each year on the phone with 911 waiting for the Police to arrive.
I’ve been keeping track of these disarming stories for years now. Most often, it’s the victims taking away the attacker’s weapon. Examples:
http://www.columbiatribune.com/news/2011/oct/05/teen-arrested-armed-robbery/
http://ardmore.patch.com/articles/police-jogger-disarms-attacker-in-attempted-merion-robbery
Many of the disarmed victims are cops getting shot with their service pistol.

I am not sure about the James Green case, it will remain to be seen if it was simply a case of his going to the wrong home or if it was a crime in progress.
If the former, then this is a regrettable incident but still justified, if the latter, then good riddance.
The other cases are only the tip of the iceberg for guns foiling a crime.
I would suppose that, like childhood vaccines, there is a “herd effect” with gun ownership. When criminals think there may be a firearm in a home, they tend to be more cautious about entering an occupied dwelling.
Even if you do not own a firearm yourself, the fact that you may adds to your security.
