When asked to comment Wednesday about the deaths and crimes that have occurred around Occupy protests being held across the country, Rep. Maxine Waters said “that’s life and it happens.”
“That’s a distraction from the goals of the protesters,” Waters, who says she supports the Occupy movement, told CNSNews.com after an event at the Capitol sponsored by the Congressional Progressive Caucus.
The next obvious question to ask: So, what are those goals that soar above the petty need to avoid rape and buckets of human waste on our city streets? What Occupy goal justifies the descent into anarchy that they’re leading? Not that Waters will answer. Their hearts are in the right place, or something.
At any rate, Waters had a much less sanguine opinion of the Tea Party. Despite the total lack of violent crimes, terroristic threats, and spread of diseases that the West thought we had defeated decades ago only to have them return to occupy our city parks, back in August Waters told the Tea Party to “Go straight to Hell.”
If we had a fair mainstream press, they might put these two quote together and ask Waters about them.

Nailed it. Absolutely would love to hear Rep. Waters try to reconcile her hate for a non-violent group vs. her willingness to chalk up all that’s happening with OWS as “stuff happens”.

Former part-time school teacher and telephone operator, currently the scourge of the greedy financial industry, eloquent spokesmodel for the Black Caucus, the entity entitled to redistribute your money and lifetime of effort to herself and the BC’s pals and cronies, many of whom had distant relatives who were once slaves, whom hundreds of thousands died to free, but who did not sacrifice enough because their distant descendents still suffer from insufficient affirmative action, even though Maxime wasn’t qualified to be a telephone operator, no matter a representative of the great country that makes her life of crime and undeserved privilege possible.
You got to keep in mind what sort of people she represents in her district…
What are the “goals” of the protestors? Apparently to yell and scream a lot, crap in the streets, make noise and trouble… basically, hold a large scale, psychotic block party. Then you have people like Waters and her fellow Kleptocrats trying to paste a “they’re frustrated with Congress (read “Republicans”) and want us back in power” clown-face on the ugliness and hope to use that to regain the House and keep the Senate and the presidency. Trouble is, the occupados probably don’t really give a crap which party runs Washington, their preference would be to burn it down. Kinda hard to ride on the backs of a “movement” that’s trying to set fire to you.

If that’s “life” according to Maxine Waters, it’s quite the confession of what she sees as normal and proper in the world.
The Communist One World Solidarity movement (COWS) cannot be blamed for moving in mooing herds, and leaving dung behind. That’s what they do.
The cud-chewers stampede from time to time, because in the herd universe…you do herd things not by thinking about them, but just because your handlers want you to move in a certain direction.
Dumb animals, herded together, doing herd things. It is rather silly and quite inane to ask the cud-chewers what their goal or purpose or aim or intent is…they are not there to “reason why”, they are there to herd. When the Communist handlers are done with them…there will be steak and hamburger.
Maxine Waters doesn’t give a Tinker’s Dam about violence if it serves the revolutionary purpose. Jeremiah Wright wanted God to damn America. Maxine Waters wants us to go straight to hell and Bill Ayers wants us to go to reeducation camps and kill off 30 million of us.

I hope you aren’t suggesting that Maxine Waters’ heart is in the right place, because she doesn’t have one, period.
(Prequel: I just read what I wrote below. I’m sorry, I’m old, which I hope gives me license to plead victimhood and excuse my rapid swings from optimism to defeat then back to the light. I’ve not been diagnosed as bipolar — yet.)
OWS is a blessing, perhaps even a modern day example of divine providence.
I’m sure many folks are collecting videos of the fetid infestations and our leftist leaders’ fawning support for them. I can scarcely wait for the campaign ads — silent movies of the occupations finest moments while a rap sheet of rapes, assaults, shootings, Antisemitism, destruction of private property and countless other Statist staples scroll slowly up the screen as Progressive/Democrat/Socialist/Marxist/Communist politicians (pick your favorite synonym) from Obama to the lowliest, mindless, leftist drones laud the grass-roots populist uprising of the Obama base.
I confess boundless joy watching them self-destruct, but it’s tempered by the pain they will cause others in the throes of their suicide. After this episode passes to the historical revision in-basket, I wonder what moniker the left will give itself the next time it crawls from underneath the rocks to infect humanity with its endless recycling of Utopian tyranny.
With a history degree and the perspective of a long life, I often marvel at our avoidable futility. And after many years I’ve finally come to a different attitude, admittedly very cynical, about the importance of historical perspective — I now believe that the biggest waste of effort in human history has been bothering to record it at all, for even those who learn from it are seemingly powerless to alter its endless repetitions.
I wish something would convince me I am not speaking from experience but from creeping senility. Perhaps if we bury Statism deep enough this time to permit my death before its reemergence, it will allow the sparse mourners to detect at least a contrite smile on my face. The Tea Party has a brief lawful orderly event, and leaves the place cleaner than when they arrived. OWS has rampant violence, crime, disorder, has to be ejected by police, and leaves chaos, ruined businesses, and filth in their wake. Is this a good analogy for how the country will be governed by the respective parties these 2 groups support.
