Typical Day for Campaigner in Chief in 2011

President Obama’s schedule today looks like a typical day for the Campaigner in Chief, where campaigning is much more fun than governing the unruly masses.  Please note today is October 4, 2011 NOT October 4, 2012. However, by this schedule you could have fooled me.

THE PRESIDENT’S DAY: “In the morning, the President will depart the White House en route Dallas [to] deliver remarks at a campaign event at the Sheraton Hotel in Dallas. The President will then deliver remarks at another campaign event at the Sheraton Hotel in Dallas. In the afternoon, the President will visit Eastfield College, a community college in Mesquite, Texas, where he will tour the campus’ Children’s Laboratory School and meet with students and teachers. The President will then deliver remarks urging Congress to pass the American Jobs Act now to keep teachers in the classroom and rebuild schools across our nation.”

“Later in the afternoon, the President will depart Dallas, Texas en route St. Louis, Missouri. In the evening, the President will deliver remarks at a campaign event at the Renaissance Hotel in St. Louis.  Later in the evening, the President will deliver remarks at a campaign event at a private residence. At night, the President will return to Washington.”   WHERE HE WILL BE REMINDED THAT HE ACTUALLY HAS A JOB.
