Maxine Waters Wonders Why Obama Speaks So Harshly to Black Voters

Because…he’s raaacist? Wait…

Rep. Maxine Waters says she’s not sure who President Barack Obama was talking to when he told black Americans to quit complaining and follow him into the battle for jobs and opportunity.

The California Democrat, a member of the Congressional Black Caucus, says she found the president’s language “a bit curious.” She says Obama didn’t address Hispanics in such a blunt manner and would never use that language in a speech to a gathering of gays or Jews.

She has a point. When Obama addressed Hispanic voters, he told them to “punish their enemies.” And last time he mentioned Jewish voters, well, it was at best a gaffe.

If the lightworker’s magic act is even wearing thin on the Maxine Waters’ of the world…

I am astonished. I thought his speech chastising the CBC would cause a firestorm of critisism from them, especially waters and jackson-lee. Every day brings a new jaw-dropper.
This guy has pushed politics in this country over the line into absurd. Watching national politics has become like watching a Saturday night live skit; it is a parody of itself.
Are we the same people who elected Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, Webster and so many other pargons of reason? Did we defeat the Kaiser, the Axis powers and the Barbary Pirates? Did we give almost everything to the world that makes it what it is today? And we elected this guy???
This is a mark of shame on us that no amount of time will fade.

Shame and embarrassment are great teachers. Barack Obama has been a badly needed slap in the face to our nation of sleepwalkers.

Very good point RebeccaH. My wife said the very same thing when he was elected. She said ” This is going to be a slap in the face for everyone in this country. I hope it will wake us up.”

  2. “I can no more disown him (Rev. Wright) than I can disown the black community. I can no more disown him than I can my white grandmother…”

    Barack Obama March 2008

In fact he did disown Wright and pretty much disowned his white grandmother.

The wheels on the bus go round and round …”thud”…round and round…”crunch” round and round …”squish”.

  4. Why Maxine, it could hardly be more obvious: Obama thinks he owns you. Maybe you think that’s just his white half talking. You’ll learn better next year, when he starts polling below third-party candidates and “None Of The Above.”

She’s probably confused because if a white man had said something like she’d be crying racism, but since it was a black man who said it she isn’t sure how to react.
