Check out this table of stimulus spending from the Senate Republican Conference. Solyndra’s half a billion in stimulus cash turns out to have been such a large amount of money that it eclipsed 35 entire states. Make sure to link this post on your facebook and twitter feeds, people need to see just how large a boondoggle Solyndra really was.

But but but wait Oscama is gonna make it up in his $474 billion stimulius bill. Oh wait hes gonna pay off the unions my bad.
THE DAY OF THE TRILLIONS
Spaced-out Green things from another, alternate universe invade the United States, spit a blinding poison into the eyes of the electorate, which then votes to consume itself with debt.
Only a salty torrent of plain talk can dissolve these nightmarish creatures and save the world.
Note all the “blue” states on the list, including some sizable ones:
Connecticut
Delaware
DC
Hawaii
Maine
Massachusetts
Minnesota
Rhode Island
Oregon
Vermont
Washington
but but but…Solyndra WAS shovel-ready.
They were ready to shovel taxpayer money into their own wallets.
Bryon– I was tempted to note the inconsistency in the $ = S in your headline. And then I got it. Delayed response on account of the $timulants that come in shades of brown.
Has anyone else noticed inflation in alcohol prices? VodkaPundit, get on this!
I’m Sorry,…BUT I CALL BULLS***
Of course, we blow through that amount of money pretty much every day in Iraq and Afghanistan. I wish Obama hadn’t started those adventures. Oh, wait…
Its Really too bad that Bush approved the money for Solyndra in the first place
Sean, I am correcting you. The loan approval process started when Bush was in office. He did not approve the loan. The actual loan was made in 2009 bye the DOE and was approved by civilian employees of the DOE. Obama touted the loan as a step towards energy independence, when in actuality it was another failed stimulus program
