Rep. Allen West Rips Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz
It’s on! After Democrat Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz waited until after Rep. West left the House to rip on him in a speech, West fired off an email to her calling her “vile” and “not a lady.”
Look, Debbie, I understand that after I departed the House floor you directed your floor speech comments directly towards me. Let me make myself perfectly clear, you want a personal fight, I am happy to oblige. You are the most vile, unprofessional ,and despicable member of the US House of Representatives. If you have something to say to me, stop being a coward and say it to my face, otherwise, shut the heck up. Focus on your own congressional district!
I am bringing your actions today to our Majority Leader and Majority Whip and from this time forward, understand that I shall defend myself forthright against your heinous characterless behavior……which dates back to the disgusting protest you ordered at my campaign hqs, October 2010 in Deerfield Beach.
You have proven repeatedly that you are not a Lady, therefore, shall not be afforded due respect from me!

DWS’s response, delivered through her spokesman, is your typical Democrat response to anything a Republican does: She accused West of trying to balance the budget “on the backs of seniors, the poor, the middle class” and so forth. How original. The Democrats have only used that against every Republican over the last hundred years.
Even if it were true, at least he’s trying to balance the budget. Wasserman Schultz is part of the irresponsible Democrat leadership that hasn’t even bothered to pass a budget and which is doing everything it can now to keep spending at the currently insane levels.
West stood by his email today. He’s not one who is likely to back down from much of anything, having fought terrorists in Iraq and spent 22 years in the US Army. West is evidently unaccustomed to how Washington operators like DWS tend to knife American heroes like himself in the back at every opportunity. Here’s to hoping he never gets used to it, and keeps calling them out. He believes in something that the likes of DWS has never heard of: honor.

And BTW, this was a huge gift to West; raising his national profile with a fight with the chair of the DNC. This can only help the West ’16 (or ’20) campaign. She just handed him a barrel of face time.

So it’s OK to balance the budget on the backs of seniors, the poor and the middle class?
Democrats are the ones calling for “shared sacrifice”. When the federal government is borrowing over 40 cents of every dollar it spends this year, everyone including the poor, the elderly, and the middle class are going to have to see cuts in their favorite programs. Shared sacrifice does not mean “how much of your money can I rip off to pay for my pet causes.” The cuts are going to have to hit everybody, not just “the rich.”
Maybe he can fire a gun next to her head, or would he get kicked out of the Legislature like he got kicked out of the Army?
Screw those poor people, they don’t need to eat! Rush Limbaugh needs a subsidy for his Gulfstream!
