Herman Broder and Anthony Weiner's cosmic headwinds

So Andrew Breitbart has the photographic goods on Congressman Weiner.  I am reminded of Roger L. Simon’s screenplay for Enemies, A Love Story, where cosmic forces seem arrayed against the antagonist Herman Broder.  Broder makes choices that send him spiraling toward destruction, but he also seems to have angered forces beyond his control.  These forces speed along Broder’s crash by placing him in random places that unravel his lies and deception.  Even the Congressman’s name fuels the drama!

Will Weiner resign?  Republicans like Mark Foley and Christopher Lee were gone in mere moments compared to Weiner’s continuing farce.  The photo seems to have been taken in his Rayburn Building office, adding to the cosmic mess of this story. Consider this too – Weiner represents the same Congressional district where the fictional Herman Broder lived with one of his three wives, where a large neon sign for “Nathan’s” could be seen in so many shots in the movie.
