CNN’s Dana Bash distinguishes herself with some particularly hard-hitting questions. Rep. Anthony Weiner, NY Democrat, distinguishes himself by not answering any of her questions, or anyone else’s questions.
This is, simply, the worst press conference since Bill Clinton’s infamous “that woman” press conference in 1998. Yes, it’s that bad. But Weiner, lacking the lip biting compelling insincerity of Bill Clinton, comes off even worse than the Clenis did back then.
This story has blown up in the mainstream media. Until Anthony Weiner decides to extend an actual answer rather than trying to provide little distractions in the manner of a backyard magician trying to pull one over on a bunch of five year olds, this story is not going away. I’ve seen him before. I believe Fox News’ Megyn Kelly was interviewing him, and his (in)ability to give straight answers, his arrogance, smugness. I do wonder at how some people can leave people like this in office.

As much as it is tempting to jump in these kinds of muck, such matters, once exposed, regardless of political party, should be left to the appropriate congressional bodys constitutional mandates and the voters of the district who elected him/her into office.
It never ceases to amaze me at how the media and pundits and their followers selectively choose what parts of the constitution they wish to follow and not follow. The matters of elected officials terms of conduct and possible expulsion process are defined in the Constitution and otherwise a matter of States Rights…. the voters in the legislators district.
Anybody who perpetuates the ‘nationalization’ of constitutional States Rights and process especially, in the case of States elections rights of persons to federal office, is ignoring the constitution!
Again, once exposed, it is up to the ethics committees of congress to move as they so desire except in those cases defined by the constitution in which they have no choice but to act in accordance.
Now that this matter has been exposed and the appropriate congressional GOP is aware, isn’t there more important matters to hone in on?
Trust our betters in Congress to deal with this, when they consistently show that they will circle around and protect their fellow elites against us rabble? You can’t be serious, not with Charlie Rangel, Alcee Hastings and the rest of those criminals still in power up there. They can’t be trusted to tell us the sky is blue on a good day. So I must respectfully ask you, just what is it that you’re smoking?

How about the constitution and congressional process? If you have a problem with those two things how about folks refocus and attack the constitutional and congressional processes, in an effort to effect some reasonable plan of resolve, ‘you’ and those who follow in your footsteps, can live with?
Yes, I’m aware some find it rewarding to kick the neighbors dog because they don’t like the neighbor and can’t bring themselves to face the real issue.
Remember the 10 iron rules of liberal politics:
1. Anything that happens to a liberal is a result of oppression by “the man”, therefore all of their suffering felt by a liberal is virtuous.
2. All public sins committed by liberals, no matter how odious, when performed by a liberal with political power are always forgiven, if not outright encouraged.
3. For liberals, public misbehavior is a qualification for office, not a disqualifying event. In liberal circles, past events of public misbehavior are often invented the way some people pad their resume with degrees they did not receive.
4. To liberals, the only real sin is voting against the party.
5. To liberals, laws and morals are for little people.
6. Remember that if you are a lawyer, then the law doesn’t apply to you. You should have learned that when you studied for the Bar Exam. You did study for the Bar, right? I mean, who would want to be a lawyer without that little fringe benefit? I mean really…
7. If you are not a liberal, then you’re just a hypocrite, so shut up.
8. Being liberal means that you have undergone a sort of social baptismal that removes you from original sin of western civilization and places you in a state of grace to rise above all that has been done before you arrived here on the earth. You desire to see that all wrongs are righted, that all inequities are ended. This is your quest, this is your purpose. No compromise will be made and in the end all the world will be uniform and without want. This is your core belief. That, and the fact that everyone else in the world has way more money than you do, and something simply must be done to put a stop to it, is what gets you out of bed in the morning, along with a cigarette, and a box of those little chocolate donuts.
9. As a liberal, sending photos of yourself to women who are not your wife while you are in a state of arousal is completely understandable if not commendable. In the mind of the Liberal, that photo should be his Avatar, but its just “the man” and his oppression who are holding him back from doing so. What was that Marx said? ( or was it Che?) “Someday, we will all have “tentpole” avatars, Comrade! When the Revolution comes!”
10. By simply by stating that you are a liberal allows you to have the strength to attack your enemies and withstand their attacks upon you. You need no longer be accountable to your actions or feel shame or a loss of dignity as you go through your daily life, you simply need to “mean well”, your intentions will be your shield, your staff, your rod,( errr uhh, you see where I’m going here right? )
