Who claim to be “public interest” or “consumer interest” groups, but are really only interested in advancing the government’s interest.
Every policy prescription they proffer results in bigger, more intrusive government.
Which is not at all in the public’s – the consumers’ – interest.
The great american project was founded by balancing something in the middle between socialism, anarchism and a capitalist economy with religion being excluded from the government and economic processess.
Today, we have uncountable numbers of special interests manipulating, influencing and in fact, writing legislation on their behalf for the congress and the executive branch policy makers.
Its a bit disingenuous to single out one ideological faction of special interest from another!
