Sarah Palin’s House in Arizona
Amy Laff, editor and publisher of the Arizona-centric StateBrief.com, has posted the photos of the new home of former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin.
The move to Arizona has many wondering if this is the step one takes in preparing a run for president. Certainly, it is easier to campaign when you live in the lower 48. Or, with her media career, is this just a way to be close to LA and have a much easier flight to NY and DC?
Finally, one has to wonder why Arizona? Yes, her daughter recently moved there. But she could have moved to tax free Nevada. She also could have pulled a Huckabee and had some nice waterfront property in Florida. Arizona is a hotbed of political movement, and political backlash. Immigration, state’s rights, 2nd Amendment and education are all powerful subjects in the state, and Palin put herself right in the middle of it.

In the middle of it is right where Sarah wants to be I suspect. Her friendship with Jan Brewer might have something to do with it also. Remember Gov. Brewer was in Alaska recently visiting Sarah. I’m looking forward to whatever she is up to. I suspect it will be something nobody expected her to do.
This woman moved to AZ because she wants to run for the senate in 2012. It’s obvious that the people of AZ have no brains as they voted yet again for the man who pulled her from under a rock and didn’t put her back again.
She will probably try for the WH in 2016 but she will still be dumb and stupid and uneducated and a traitor, liar and whatever else the she devil is.
DC had 100 degree temps when she started her bus tour. Massachusetts had tornadoes that they hadn’t had in decades and AZ burst into flames as soon as she bought the house.

AZ was the home state of Barry Goldwater. There is major symbolic significance in that.
I think this whole discussion is speculative as it seems far from certain that Palin is the purchaser.

Hillary was a suburban Chicago girl, not a New Yorker when she went after the Senate seat that was most available.
Immigration issues and support for the war in Iraq may be grounds upon which Sarah and Jeff would spend some time debating. She has lost some popularity points in Alaska…although Murkowski deserves a real trouncing for her continued asinine voting behavior.
Sarah can help Jan Brewer make some powerful statements…doing the Ms. Inside and Ms. Outside game.
I do NOT want Sarah to run for President. It’s a waste of money and in this upcoming election cycle…not her highest and best use.

Sarah Palin is the ONLY person willing and able to stand up to the likes of Obama, Soros, and Progressive Liberals, AND her own party who seem hell-bent on losing the 2012 elections.
IF the GOP will unify behind Sarah Palin, IF they don’t pull a “Jonn-McCain” on her, IF the GOP will act virtuously and work hard for a GOP victory and not allow themselves to be “alinskyed” out of the White House again, Sarah Palin will win handily.

Any 3rd Party candidate who is/was a Republican is going to do nothing but reduce the number of votes Sarah Palin needs to get the Electoral College votes to WIN.

As for myself, I will probably wind up holding my nose and voting for whatever establishment GOP nominee winds up going against Obama. But I’d certainly prefer not to, if we could just get a decent nominee past the primaries. I prefer Sarah Palin, but I’m willing to give Pawlenty a look should she lose support.

Are you certain you’re not a social justices groupie attempting to squash others constitutional rights? I strongly suspect that Mrs. is an advocate of ‘common’ unity [within] the context of individual constitution rights over divisiveness but, so many of her followers promote the opposite.
The problems in America stem from courruption, from the bottom up and corruption of the governments [processes} for which NO president can single handedly reform and restore. It will take a strong majority of the nations people across all party lines and for certain a majority of the congress across party lines. If she is the new owner, I doubt she is eyeballing Kyl’s Senate seat. Jeff Flake is a good Representative who has never taken any pork. Why would she want to beat him out of that job?
The interior is nice, but the exterior is ugly. The scenery, coming from AK, would just be depressing. I’ve lived in AK, and I’ve lived in the desert. I prefer the warmth, to be sure, but the drab view in the desert gets old fast.
So, if she is doing it, then why? To get away from nosy neighbors? I cannot see a political advantage, really, not even travel-time. Whatever the reason, it would certainly be unconventional and unexpected. It is either stupid or wily.
As a result of 20 years with the US Air Force, I’ve lived several years in west Texas, and several years in the plains of Montana. Before those experiences, I never understood how one could love the desert. It’s not something you can see driving through in a car, unless you already see it. That girl sees a lot, maybe she sees the beauty in the desert.

She has been inhumanly attacked by every MSM and RINO hack in the world and she is still standing and fighting. Her children have been dragged through the mud along with her family and husband. And she is still standing. She is the only one the Obama group fears and the MSM will try to create as much mud and scandal as they can. Looks like all rumours at this point. There’s not much point in speculating about these things before there is more information.
I have no real clue whether Palin is in the presidential running or not, but Arizona is ground zero in the most critical battle of all: state and local powers vs. fed legislators, regulators and the DoJ. The Goldwater Institute is also at the cutting edge of that controversy. Even if Palin doesn’t hold elective office, she and Gov. Brewer could still be a formidable team in that arena. In addition, Republicans have more to offer hispanic/latino voters than Democrats think they do, and I suspect Palin’s populist appeal could go a long way toward making that sale.

What will Sarah do in a leadership position?
Sure, she can complain and criticize — that’s what all subordinates are good at. She reminds me of my co-workers back in 1982, when I was 16, and working at McDonald’s — all of my fellow 16 year olds were great at telling everyone how bad the management was.

Let me see, did Joe Biden quit the Senate (after running simultaneously on two tickets to assure he had a nice gig no matter what), did Barack Obama quit the Senate? He quit his first significant leadership role. Have hundreds of governors and other people in leadership positions left their offices for all kinds of reason including running for higher offices? In all these cases the answer is affirmative.
Getting a promotion is not quitting. If you were promoted from your current job to CEO of your company, would you say you “quit” your current job? Would anyone else?
What Sarah did, however, was to leave her position and not accept a higher position within government. That’s quitting.
By the way, not to toot my own horn, but I wrote about the “quitter” label way back in 2009, so at least I’m on record as being consistent.
