The PC Police and open dialogue on radicalized Muslims

I wish I knew where the most PC amongst us kept their starter’s pistol, for it seems that on cue those who can learn the most from open communication will do the most to ensure it happens least.

Today, Rep. Peter King (R-NY) opens up his hearings on the radicalization of Muslim youth in America.  A rally already took place in New York, claiming that Rep. King was targeting Muslims. Rep. Andre Carson, (D-IN) a Muslim, stated, “To the Peter King’s of the world: We will not take your xenophobic behavior.”  Rep. Keith Ellison, (D-MN) the first Muslim elected to Congress also opposed the meetings, as they might be used as a recruiting tool for Jihadists.

Today, Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-MS) and the top Democrat on the House Homeland Security Committee, echoed Rep. Ellison, stating that the hearing could be used by terrorists to inspire a new generation of suicide bombers.

The upcoming hearings were covered by PJTV on The Conversation with Tony Katz.  Clearly, the PC crowd does not want to recognize reality, and is trying to hide behind the mantle of multi-culturalism to thwart open dialogue.  Radicalization of Muslim youth is happening, and that youth is being recruited to attack America, and the free and thinking people of the world. Hearings, or a discussion on the subject isn’t going to “create more terrorists.”  Honest conversation about who they are, and who we are, might be the only thing that stops it.
