WI Dems have no plans to return soon

They’re downplaying yesterday’s comments by minority leader, Sen. Mark Miller.

Wisconsin Democrats who fled the state more than two weeks ago to block a vote on a Republican plan to limit public union collective bargaining said on Sunday they have no immediate plans to return.

“I think the situation has not been resolved,” said Mike Browne, a spokesman for Wisconsin senate minority leader Mark Miller, while adding: “I don’t think anyone has ever suggested that at some point the Democrats don’t return.”

I’ve read some where in our State Statues that upon anyone State Representive is absent beyond 30 days without approval form their Assembly or Senate leaders in the Capitol will in effect have resigned from office. I suspect this to be coming to a head and this is what IMO is taking place with talks between the Speaker of the Senate Mr. Fitzgerald & those 14 Cowards so they can save face and their place in history as well as there seat in the Senate without risking there having to have resigned by sitting out in protest. I vaguely remember this being in the State Statues somewhere in the Section 7(4) of Wisconsin Statues. I’m sure they will return by week’s end but are in the meantime trying to drive the narrative as to why they returned when I know what the real reason is which is 30 days is fast approaching but I don’t know if weekends count as days missed or if it’s days missed based on how many days the Senate is in session ?

I’m not a WI voter, but I’d be pushing to recall all 14 — that’s apparently in the Statutes. If they don’t want to do the people’s will, get somebody that DOES want to.
