AlterNet blogger: Herman Cain is a “monkey in the window”

Power Line has the details on this bizarre and obviously racial attack on Herman Cain. The AlterNet blogger, “Chauncey DeVega,” calls Cain a “minstrel” and a “garbage pail kid” in addition to calling him a “monkey,” and just to make sure to hit all the bases, adds that during his CPAC speech, Cain was performing for his “masters.”

Cain, former CEO of Godfather’s Pizza and former chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank in Kansas City, responds on his facebook page.

The Revs. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton remain silent so far. As does the NAACP. And AlterNet hasn’t seen fit to send the post down the memory hole. Yet.

Not that that would do them any good, what with it being so easy to capture screen shots and all. While the post remains up, take a good look. It’s a racist attack on a good man, pure and simple.

Herman is the man whose time has come.

I saw that video and it made so proud to be an American.

  3. Herman Cain is not doing himself an favors with his constant joking. from his comments on recent interviews about prolife stance where he flip flopped when being asked about what he beleived with regards to abortion for a woman who was raped to his most recent commercial which garnered attention but showed him to be nothing more than a joke. If hes the number one candidate for the repulican party we are going to hit the ground hard. I think Mitt romney is the most presentable of the bunch although he has made some seriouse miscalculations as well.
