This sums up the state of the nation:  recently bankrupt Chrysler airs millions of dollars of Super Bowl ads proclaiming the rebirth of Detroit, while asking for more in taxpayer dollars.  Detroit, where pheasants and coyotes roam post industrial wastelands.  Only a taxpayer funded marketing campaign could make the story of Detroit a centerpiece.  Ed Driscoll has more at PJM.
