Ted Cruz defender of the constitution

Bryan Preston has this news that former Texas Solicitor General Ted Cruz will be seeking to replace Senator Kay Bailey Hutchinson.  I have heard Cruz speak on many occasions at various events over the years.  He distinguishes himself from most political candidates both because of his brilliant legal mind as well as his ability to craft simple persuasive arguments about complicated Constitutional issues.  The Senate could use a brilliant defender of the Constitution like Cruz.
