Peggy Noonan sings “Now He’s Back in My Arms Again.” It seem that all it took was a smooth speech for Obama to get back into her good graces. But as a former speechwriter, she’s probably especially susceptible to his oratorical charms.

Arghh. Noonan’s panties are damp for Obama. That’s news? Since when?

Well, Peggy is all about the optics. She far less
frequently looks deeper. I also suspect she is pissed that she gets
all the criticism for falling for Obamas act in 2008 and that the
criticism is on point. She has never indicated the slightest bit of
awareness of how completely and easily she was taken in, even
though she surely knows it. She has squandered an opportunity to
reflect upon how the superficial can be so attractive and therefore
dangerous in politics. Maybe because she doesnt want to. Maybe
because she really doesnt know the difference, this piece being
Exhibit A.
Im sorry, Peggy Noonan died two years ago. Why are we
