A videotape of a poll worker in Houston’s #202 precinct has corroborated reports received by Pajamas Media of voter intimidation today in the Texas city by the New Black Panther Party. The New Black Panthers have been at the center of the controversy surrounding a dropped prosecution by the Department of Justice that is being investigated by the US Civil Rights Commission.

Pajamas Media has received the following information, substantially corroborated by the video:

Quanell X, the leader of the Houston New Black Panther Party, has been seen illegally entering polling places in Houston with up to five other members of the New Black Panther Party, some in the uniform of the New Black Panthers.  They are not permitted to enter the polls without credentials or to vote.  Neither applies.   They have begun to cross the city and assert authority at the polls.  They entered Precinct #202 in Houston and began to give instructions to the election officials.  The election officials did not ask the New Black Panthers to leave.  Instead, the New Black Panthers asserted themselves and gave order to the election officials.

Arrests? Prosecutions? Nah. But perhaps several dozen Tea Partiers to counter this crap?

These bastards MUST go down, and go down hard!

  2. 2. NotSoRedDawn

I wonder if the DOJ will sit on their hands with this one? It would be a dumb move if they did, considering that as of now, it’s a pretty sure thing the Republicans will win the House.

Well, this is my district..so keep us posted on this incident…”Quanell the 10th”…aka Ralph Evans is a punk who drives around in a a high end Hummer acting like some kind of paramilitary type…he and his Black Pansies are considered a joke here in the 18th District…give me something more positive to go on so I can get in his face about it

@NSRD, come Jan 2, the House will be able to hold hearings into this matter. If Dear Liar’s administration is smart, they’d go after this and consider these few NBPP as sacrificial lambs.

Why no arrests? I live in Texas and cannot imagine this is allowed!

Welcome Sheila Jackson Lee territory, which is going increasingly ferrel in her stronger areas. Quanell X is a professional trouble maker. I hope the Republicans investigate this and arrests are made.

Jackson Lee should denounce this and she will not denounce this.

It isn’t only in Jackson Lee territory. This just in from Philly, at the same polling place Holder’s DOJ ignored despite identical reports from two years ago today: http://www.myfoxphilly.com/dpp/news/politics/local_politics/New_Black_Panther_Party_Spotted_At_Philadelphia_Polling_Place_110210
All this as the Royal Family readies itself for a $1.2 billion maharajah-worthy holiday in India, with a regal retinue of 3,000, thanks to the generosity of
the American taxpayers, many of whom haven’t experienced a vacation since the inauguration of the Vacationer-in-Chief.

All the while, the Royal Family is readying itself—all four of them—for its $1.2 billion, maharajah-worthy tour of India, complete with a 3,000-person retinue, thanks to the generosity of the American taxpayers, many of whom haven’t had a vacation since the inauguration of the Vacationer-in-Chief.

Sorry about this double-post. I thought the first one hadn’t gone through, so I re-submitted it. My apologies.

  9. Don’t get me wrong, voter intimidation in any form must not be tolerated. This jerk should be prosecuted.

On the other hand… I have to ask: is this the best they can do? Really?

And we’re supposed to be afraid of them? Why?

We need some militant Right Wing Lesbians armed with attitude and glitter-guns to shake these New Black Panther “kill cracka babies” @ssholes up. If I lived in Houston, I’d nominate myself and my home-girls.

Nauseating. Let this fill all patriots with resolve. Obama spoke the truth about his opposition being his enemies. These black terrorists, along with their Islam-loving America-hating protectors and champions in Obama and Holder, are the enemies of all American Patriots.

This is FINALLY our chance to find our VOICE since our anger at town meetings met with deaf ears and our voices railing against 0bama’s agenda and passing unread bills met with even deaf[er] ears and our tea rallies were met with ridicule, disdain and charges of racism…

I’m so proud of my country right now. F*ck YOU, Michelle and Barry. I’m your enemy? Fine, you are NOT my PRESIDENT!

Watch, DoJ will call it “free speech” or say any white and/or conservative people “don’t have standing” to file suit.

There was a guy in 2008 at my polling place working the booths, he was an old fellow wearing a Malcolm X “By Any Means Necessary” t-shirt. I’m not sure what he was trying to do, but it sure backfired. I was going to vote Republican for the first time anyway because of what they did to Hillary and also because Obama had no experience. Still I felt weird voting conversative cause I never had before. However, Mr. Malcolm X made it very easy for me. Now, there was no voter intimidation. He was just wearing a t-shirt. But he had no idea who I was voting for. I look like an arty liberal, so he probably thought I was a dem. I certainly wasn’t going to pick a fight with him. And he seemed like a nice guy. But his t-shirt really pissed me off. Any qualms I had went out the window.

This is how it’s being reported in Houston:
(Precinct 0202 Wheatley Senior High School 4900 Market Street Houston 77020-6599)

    http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/metropolitan/7276186.html

A precinct judge concerned about voter intimidation called authorities three times to remove poll watchers from Wheatley Senior High School in the Fifth Ward on Tuesday.

Precinct judge Carolyn Moore said she needed help to deal with poll watchers who interfered with poll operations and positioned themselves inappropriately close to voters and voting machines.

One man wanted a seat at the sign-in table in the school auditorium and would not move when asked, Moore said.

“He would not leave and I just think that it’s intimidation to the voters,” said Moore, who has worked at the polling place for more than 20 years.

Other poll watchers were similarly uncooperative, she said.

Although Harris County Constables were called three times, all three poll watchers left before authorities arrived.

Observers outside the polling place said an elderly man stormed out of the high school shouting about how a man was standing near him and telling him who to vote for.

“A citizen just came out and said, ‘I’m not voting. They are trying to tell me who to vote for,’” said Diane Landin, who was campaigning outside in favor of Proposition 1. “He was really upset.”

A poll watcher who had initially refused to leave the auditorium eventually ran out of the building to his car. When a reporter asked what he was doing at the polling place, the man replied, “I’m not going to talk to you, sorry.”

At least six poll watchers at the site Tuesday were sent by candidates — both Democrats and Republicans — for judicial positions, Moore said. Many were uncooperative and made voters and poll workers uncomfortable, she said.

Members of the media, including news trucks and a helicopter honed in on the school during the commotion involving law enforcement officials, and some politicians and their supporters also arrived at the scene, she said.

The chaos was a distraction from the order of the day, Moore said.

“It’s been a horrible experience all day,” she said.

Notice they don’t say who, exactly the person was being told to vote for.

The New Black Panther Party Was Back in Philly, Too!

It’s not surprising that the New Black Panther Party would show up on Election Day in Philadelphia.

Armed with billy clubs, they may have been caught engaging in intimidation of white voters in 2008, a violation of federal law, but the Obama administration in the person of Attorney General Eric Holder dropped the case and let them off scot-free as soon as he had the opportunity so why wouldn’t the NBPP try it again?

Fox News had exposed the intimidation two years ago when one NBPP member announced he was sick of white supremacy” and another made the memorable and ominous declaration, “This is what it’s like with a black man [Barack Hussein Obama] in charge.” On Election Day, Fox found another Panther outside a North Philly polling center.

Billy club-less and absent any charges of white voter intimidation at the time Fox was on the scene, the man was ”wearing a pin that indicated his party affiliation, along with a black hat, sunglasses and leather coat.” Whether he was acting within his legal rights to be stationed there is a whole other question.

He was less than forthcoming with the Fox reporters who tried to interview him: . . .

    All grist for 2012.

It will make an interesting sidebar to track along the House impeachment hearings of AG Eric Holder for his malfeasance in not executing his duties towards the LAST set of NBPP thugs.

Always some ass hole who doesn’t read the effin’ memo.

The rules of “the Game” just changed.

Mack-daddy Holder isn’t going to worry about protecting you whores if he’s busy trying to protect himself.

Impeachment hearings on Eric Holder is Job One for the House Judiciary Committee come January.

  18. 18. Get A Grip

Two level-headed, black Republicans were elected to the House Of Representatives yesterday. Perhaps they’ll dilute the Black Caucus in the House, and bring some sense, sanity and reason to that body. Give it a chance.

Jerks like the Black Panthers and Eric Holder have always been with us, and frequently they’re white. It might take time, but they’ll be dealt with appropriately. They always are.

  19. 19. RickGreenvilleSC

Again, I must ask- are there no real men in these areas to stand up to, and in fact , run these thugs off? If this was happening here in Greenville and word of it got out , there would be plenty of folks who would gladly show these POS the door. . . which is probably why it isn’t happening here. The Ebony Kitties are cowards at heart.

  20. 20. Bob Miller

Maybe this Panther stuff is a dress rehearsal or dry run like terrorists do to test our response. With continued active backing from Honest Eric Holder, this may expand as part of the Obama backup strategy (what to do if the targeted voters won’t cooperate on their own).
