I’m not going to name names here, but there’s a joke in Jewish families that the dopey ones become rabbis. I heard similar jokes about priests and Catholic families when I lived in Spain.

But I think it’s time to revise that joke. The really dopey ones become politicians and there is no better example in Jewish families than Rep. Robert Wexler (D-FLA). Eric Trager has it just about right about this blowhard on Contentions–”I, Wexler”

[Speaking of jokes and waxing, how about the one about "waxing roth"?--ed. Ah, SJ Perelman.]
