James Baker is no friend of Israel’s, either.

I won’t be at all surprised to wake up some morning very soon to the news that Tel-Aviv is now a glass crater, and the Democrats are dancing in the streets as a result. Nope … not surprised at all.

Well, I care.. a LOT… and there are others who do.

I wonder, though, if my American Jewish in-laws will care.. or if they, like the rest of the Elite University/Media crowd, will breathe a small sigh of relief that that ‘shitty little country’ won’t be causing “us” any more problems. And maybe the Islamists will settle down and like us after all.

It is so frustrating to see the Diplomat Quagmire drag us all into the slime.

I don’t know about you all, but I’m finding the current faltering of resolve very depressing.

    Launch Israel, launch!

I wonder how much of Hollywood’s Nazi fear has to do with the issue of gay marriage?

Gays can’t marry (actually homosexuals under the paradigm of marriage are not banned from marriage, many marry and divorce only to marry again) so Hollywood has decided that America is a country is full gay gulags.

Can’t get more artistic than that.

What is the U.S. policy in the event of a nuke attack against Israel?

“What is the U.S. policy in the event of a nuke attack against Israel?”

Lem, that is the most relevant question I have seen anywhere on the web or anyplace else. Bush will come through at that point. But Iran will have to nuke Israel first.

I just wish Iran would nuke the Strait of Hormuz now, instead of waiting until after it destroys Tel Aviv.

I cannot believe how depressing the news is.

    Re: Overheard in Beverly Hills.

Being an immigrant, it amazes me that someone can actually use that rhetoric, however casually, and think there’s even a drop of reality to it. As I’ve said before in other forums, only cloistered, terribly unaware people could make allusions towards this country going fascist and intend to plant a grain of truth in the accusation.

I don’t care if this was hyperbole. I don’t care if it was merely a facetious remark. Folks like that need to go overseas and see for themselves what bad government is like. And I mean go overseas and actually look, not stay in their hotels and touristy areas and pretend they know the real country from shopping and dining. They need to go look and see for themselves.

It is terribly, vastly ignorant to think that this country’s government even approaches the depredations and moral degragations of fascist countries. Terribly, vastly, incredibly, stupidly ignorant.

    Heather, Fausta,

It is like we are living in a parallel world. It seems so clear to me and yet a very large percentage of America does not seem to see the threat. This is despite the repeated statements of those who seek to destroy us and commit mass murder in Israel, the USA and elsewhere.

    ElMondo,

The problem is that many in America do not realize what we have here. The Constitution in its original form (yes, with the Bill of Rights) is one of mankind’s greatest achievements. Our founders lived under other governments and knew what what needed to achieve freedom and prosperity. Today, Americans defile the Constitution every day for political or economic advantage. Our historical illiteracy will be part of our undoing. Uneducated and uninformed voters (read lazy people) are destroying America chasing entitlements. Few pay attention to the threats to our freedom at home or abroad.

Hillary is back with her government run healthcare speech again. The social policy of the Dems will strip us of economic and personal freedom. Did you know only 6% of US medical schools now require graduates to take the Hippocratic oath? How frightening? If this proceeds, someone (not you) will decide for you whether you live or die. This is not the America of today or one I want.

Meanwhile, the cut and run crowd is looking to provide advantage to our enemies.

    Depressing……
