Iran – whom do you believe?

May 25, 2006 - 2:01 pm - by Roger L Simon

The Washington Post article linked below or this report from MEMRI – Riots in Tehran Universities: ‘We Don’t Want Nuclear Energy’. (MEMRI, of course, provides footnotes and photos. The WaPo provides nothing. How predicatable.)

UPDATE: MEMRI also has some satire that probably won’t mean much to the reified minds at the WaPo.

FYI: student riots in Iran have been going on for quite some time. To say the WaPo is behind the curve on this is an understatement. Suffice to say MSM does a piss poor job of keeping Americans informed on the rest of the world. Read Time or Newsweek cover to cover and you will know less when you finish than when you started; there is a net information loss. I’ve found good articles about unrest in Iran at freethoughts.splinder.com, an Italian site, with many articles in English.

WaPo, NYT, LAT, etc. – They’re just propaganda machines, and nothing more. They’re all part of the “false but accurate” line Dan Rather made so popular. I don’t waste my time on them, and haven’t for the last couple of years. Its so nice not to be misinformed anymore.
