He promised to destroy Israel before the question of an armed attack by the U.S. I think they press needs to ask him if there is any situation where he won’t destroy Israel other then having all the Jews in the middle east leave.

Whoops, I accidently snipped a bit of my post above before posting it. I was referring to the reaction to Ken Mehlman’s speech before the American Jewish Committee yesterday.
It is not entirely OT in the sense that another thing that happened was that the room burst into applause when someone told Mehlman to tell Bush to “stop linking the Iranian threat with Israel.”
