Forget North Korea. Forget Darfur. Forget Abu Ghraib. Look at what Airbus is trying to do to us!

Thank you Roger!
Even with “regular” seats, the Airbus A380 super-jumbo can carry 853 passengers. According to my calculations from the last time I spent waiting in line at customs, that means it’ll take longer to clear customs than it takes to fly NY-Paris.
You know this is coming. You probably won’t see it in the US, but what about the hadj run from Jakarta to Jeddah? Its a natural, 1200 passengers and a couple of hundred goats. No stewardesses in mini skirts, no drink service either. Guards with wrap around shades toting AK-47s.
I actually popped over to Drudge last night and while I didn’t read the article, Airbus’ denying it.
Methinks the folks at Boeing are having a little joke at the expense of the Euros.

If that’s the case, having France2 news go along on the joke is a much too delicious stroke of genius!
