    Reuel Marc Gerecht wrote something a few months ago on the Joseph Wilson case, to wit that “cover” is a joke, one example being that many people attached to embassies are spies and everyone knows this and takes it for granted. (i.e. Valerie Plame wasn’t fooling anyone.)
