From Reuters: United Nations (UN) nuclear watchdog chief Mohamed ElBaradei said yesterday that he expected a deal aimed at defusing a standoff over Iran’s nuclear programme to be reached within days, while Germany said Iran could be hiding something.
Schucks, I just don’t know whom to believe on this one.

Trust the Germans. They’re never reticent about telling everyone exactly what they’re up to, which countries they intend to invade, whom they’d like to kill.
I’m happy that the Germans are on the case. I’ve heard that they’ve moved the Graf Spee and the Deutschland into the Persian Gulf, that two divisions of elite paratroopers are being staged in German bases in Ethiopia, and that the United States is letting three panzer divisions stage in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Oh. Wait. The Germans don’t have any of that stuff.
Hmmm… I suspect Roger will have to start giving out his own version of Ed Morrisey’s “Capt. Louis Renault Award.” El-Baradei looks like he’s about to earn it.

There will be no “anger” in the toothless agreement that the el Bar presents to Iran. We don’t want them to feel bad and burn up cars in their rage so the wording will be the diplospeack version of “we are so grateful that you have decided to live up to the agreement you signed and to show our gratitude we will give you lots of money and we won’t insult your pride by actually insisting that we can verify that you are in compliance. Please forgive us for the mess we leave on your floor as we bow and scrape our heads on the floor as we leave. we deserve it. Remember the crusades. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.
