A Fantastic Post from a Syrian Blog

March 29, 2005 - 11:09 am - by Roger L Simon

Syrian blogger and author Ammar Abdulhamid recounts his interrogation by Syrian intelligence. The blogging community must support this man. I would imagine he is in danger. How could it be otherwise? (He has a later post about moving to Lebanon for safety.)

Sounds like the same person who told a town hall meeting at Johns Hopkins U. last September: “Why do Muslims feel humiliated? We are supposed to be at the center of the universe, and here we are at the margins of it. For 500 years, we have not contributed to human progress.”

    Whoever you are, keep punching.
