Cheat and retreat.
We all know where that got Saddam.
What scares me the most about Iran and nukes is I think they might actually use them. The Soviets were not suicidal. I am not sure about the mullahs.
If they thought they could take the Great Satan and the little Satan with them, I am not so sure what the mad mullahs might do.
Oh, well, they signed a letter, that’s okay then.
European leaders love to wave letters at their citizens after negotiations with tyrannies. Look where it got Chamberlain.
Never mind the substance of Iran’s actions. The fact is the mullahs are actually scared enough to give the impression of cooperation. Contrast this with the out-and-out defiance we witnessed from them (and the NorKs) just a few months ago.
Let’s keep these medieval lords and vassals running until they trip and spill their cargo.
ìIf they thought they could take the Great Satan and the little Satan with them, I am not so sure what the mad mullahs might do.î
They are not ìmadî mullahs. You are mistaking them for the nihilist Osama bin Ladin. They want to live. That is why the United States can pressure the mullahs to behave.
