Has the Writers Guild of America got its own version of Johnny Friendly at the helm , representing America’s screen and television writers? Well, it’s not that bad obviously, not by a long shot… but it sure ain’t good! Members of the Guild and others interested in decent union representation for artists in the entertainment industry owe it to themselves to have a look at the documents just posted at Eric Hughes’ site. As I have written before, I’m voting for Eric in the coming election. Read those documents… which include an analysis of the NLRB decision concerning the Writers Guild and a look at some strange tax decisions by our leadership… and see if you disagree with me.

UPDATE: I am informed one of the links at Eric Hughes’ site may have been corrupted. The NLRB decision is here. (warning: pdf)
