I am almost certain that several of the major polling services have not been weighting their sample sizes consistently. This would account for many of the wild swings from one candidate to another. If I’m not mistaken, there have been polls showing Obama “ten points ahead” in North Carolina, and McCain within 4-5 points in New York. Simply adjusting the number of registered Republicans/Democrats by about 10% can lead to pretty ridiculous results. I agree that many of the pollsters are doing this deliberately either for the sake of drama or for partisan purposes.
That turn-coat Andrew Sullivan thinks he’s raising “serious” questions about John McCain and Sarah Palin — but he’s only showing how right they are for accomplishing the Task given this Great Nation by God!
Every word he writes is true.
“She and/or McCain will launch a pre-emptive strike on Iran. This much we know. It isn’t a matter of if but when. For McCain it is a matter of fighting wars to win, instead of accepting any limits on American power. For Palin, it is a matter of theological destiny. For Americans, it may be a decision about whether America will start a Third World War or try to prevent it.”
Well, Andrew, I think American voters will make the RIGHT decision: War.

The question Mr. Sullivan needs to ask himself is: Why should a Christian be afraid of a Third World War, even a nuclear war, anyway?

Yes; the press is going to own this empty suit if he is elected. After all, they’re the ones who insisted that any and all inquiry into his background was “racist”. No need to examine O’s associations – it’s more important to dump 30+ reporters in Wasilla to look for dirt on the VICE PRESIDENTIAL candidate for McCain. If O is elected, and once his incompetence becomes obvious, people are sure to remember how the MSM screened him from any meaningful scrutiny.
