Author and political analyst Mark Halperin has been accused of several incidents of sexual misconduct. But before he was an outed assaulter, he was a mansplaining jerk.
Emily Miller, one of the women who’s saying he “attacked” her, was the subject of one such rant while the two of them appeared on Morning Joe. This was after the Newtown shooting; Halperin made a hypothetical argument about automatic assault weapons, as he talked down to Miller. If he wasn’t liberal, he would have been accused of mansplaining right then and there. But acting superior to her in this news setting wasn’t enough. He had to sexually attack her also?
I did not report Halperin to ABC because I thought I was the only one, and I blamed myself, and I was embarrassed and I was scared of him.
