Capons of America, Unite! You Have Nothing to Lose but Your Brains

May 10th, 2014 - 9:26 am

At first glance, this is not only risible but actively ridiculous: a bunch of metrosexual beta males apologizing for their very existence. And, in fact, it does seem to be a parody — if Stephen Parkhurst’s previous work is any guide — although many conservative sites have fallen for it, owing to its extreme plausibility. But behind every parody is more than a grain of truth so, just for fun, let’s follow the granular subtext of this exercise in cultural-Marxist nastiness.

It begins with Saul Alinsky’s famous Rule No. 4: “Make the enemy live up to their own book of rules. You can kill them with this, for they can no more obey their own rules than the Christian church can live up to Christianity.” Leaving aside the fact that there is no single “Christian Church” (a mistake common to non-Christians), and that Christianity comprises the Catholic Church, the Greek/Russian Orthodox Church and various declining sects of Protestanism, among others, the central issue here is to make “the enemy” (Alinsky’s words) face the consequences of his own imperfectibility. That any contradictions and consequences are entirely in the head of the Alinsky side matters not; after all, in psywar, it’s not what’s true that counts, it’s what you can get the enemy to believe:

Right now, the Leftist meme being pushed is “inequality.” We see it everywhere, starting at the top, with President Obama carping about it in speeches, in the sudden prominence of a book nobody will ever read, in Eric Holder’s Justice Department using the cudgel of “disparate impact” as its weapon of choice against the nation as founded. Because, the thinking goes, if all men really are created “equal,” how can you possibly object to any action government takes to rectify a perceived “inequality”? Well, you can’t — unless, of course, you can reason past the formulation “if A then B.” But the modern Left understands that few can or will — and even if they could, the sound-bite hegemony of the media will rule out any substantive discussion of C, D, or E. As the AlinskyDefeater notes:

This tactic is genius in its simplicity. The idea is to keep the attention on your opponent by simply peppering them with the ways in which they fail to be perfect. No one is perfect and so the rule is powerful. In fact, it is one of the most powerful tactics in the Alinsky arsenal.

It’s simple and effective because it’s false, taking no account of the actual crooked timber of humanity (in Sir Isaiah Berlin’s famous phrase), nor of the fundamental “unfairness” of Nature herself. It’s false because it assumes facts not in evidence (white male “privilege”) and purposely targets a single group, without remarking upon the fairness, or lack of it, of other societies (female, non-white, whatever). In other words, it assumes a conspiracy — the Big Meeting Theory of History — in which European men got together in the Caves of Lascaux or somewhere similar, and made a binding pact for all eternity. Never mind that they could have no knowledge about the existence of other human societies; they were Oppressors, and that would be that.

In fact white males have "outworked most women and minorities in the many fields in which they dominate." The finish line brooks no excuses; there is no crying in baseball.

Where this woman goes wrong is in assuming that being white intrinsically had something to do with that or that white guys are standing around going "Hey, we're white, we're successful. Ergo white equals success." If that were true white guys would lay around on couches like sultans smoking sheesha and wait for the world to arrive.

That's classic projection by women like this racialist who sees the world through a racial lens and so then must everyone else. The list becomes endless of how I must view the world: through privilege, maleness, feminism, comic books, and 10,000 dollar funerals for my pet.

But where were Europeans complaining about Turkish privilege when they were kicking European hind ends for decade after decade plus taking over all of the Middle East and N. Africa? And what was white privilege worth aside from a higher mark up in the white slavery market in Istanbul?

Outer space and mathematics doesn't love white people but they do love people who study them with an out of this world aggressiveness that whining and self-pity can't and will never address. The thing about losers is they don't understand winning.

"White privilege" is nothing but a clever demonization theory cooked up by the same type of morons who cooked up clever theories for Jews.

That brings us to the other group of people that this theme empowers: straight up bigots. I'm supposed to understand the mysterious powers of privilege which can predict not a single thing in this world but somehow the idea of anyone but a straight white male can hate is some mythical beast wrapped in a magic box and buried in Grant's Tomb where it can't quite be gotten at. So there are no misandrists, Christianophobes, heterophobes or non-white racists. Great. An amazing coincidence.

The politically correct are a parody. They are either useful chumps for racists and sexist supremacists or they are those supremacists themselves. I give them the big eff u and tell them to stay out of cis-het cis-lunar space cuz I've marked it for my own and yeah, the entire solar system too. Go cry and wring your little hands and wonder where table salt magically comes from while I dig a giant canal with my steam shovel "privilege."

White European and American men invented the modern world and no other culture was just about to. It was not inevitable. My grandmother was born in 1896 into an entirely different world from that which she died in the late 80's. The giants on who's shoulders we stand to see so far were people of a culture we should deeply appreciate. This God-given, stunning leap of human existence created a world where medicine, communications, engineering, transportation and food production have become so advanced that even the "poor" in the US live lives far better than the kings of old. If one participates in this wonderful existence why be surprised if white men are there enjoying it as well?

The clear and obvious fact of the matter is that "affirmative action" is an Orwellian style name for pro-black racism and black privilege. For just one example: if someone has average MCAT's and average grades, for those who take the MCAT's, and they are Asian they have a 30% of getting into medical school, if white a 35% chance, if black [even a little bit black] a 90% chance. If this isn't black privilege rather than white privilege, I don't know what it would take. This is also why I would never voluntarily go to a black doctor, Ben Carson's reputation not withstanding. It's also why most black people prefer white or Asian doctors. "Affirmative action", aka pro-black racism and black privilege, is also extremely pronounced in the deteriorating U.S. military and especially the U.S. Army.

I just answer this way, "Yep, I already checked my priviledge and it is working just fine. You should look into your priviledge because it seems to be running poorly on that jealousy you're fueling it with. You should replace it with some actual thinking and effort and you'll find your priviledge works just like mine does."

” Leaving aside the fact that there is no single “Christian Church”

Eh, that's just nitpicking. Sure, different sects have some doctrinal differences, but the major groups--Romans, Greeks, Protestants, and Evangelicals-- are all close enough so that you can talk about the "Christian Church." They all share the same basic beliefs about the Trinity, Resurrection, Heaven & Hell (RIP RJD!!!), and the importance of the teachings of Jesus. Now, if there were Arians around today, you would probably have a point, but they died out centuries ago.

The problem for the egalitarians is that people are NOT created equal. Some people are smarter, stronger, healthier, more driven, and more beautiful than others. Some people are born into wealth and get wealthier, and some people are born poor and stay poor. Scarlett Johansson is more beautiful than Lena Dunham, and no person with Down Syndrome will ever be as smart as Einstein.

The other problem for the egalitarians is that white European culture is objectively superior to others. There is no field--literature, art, music, philosophy, religion, science, technology, math, engineering, and so on--in which a nonwhite culture surpasses white culture. There is no Hispanic Shakespeare, no Chinese Bach, no Black Homer, no Indian Newton, no Amerindian Michelangelo, no SE Asian Sophocles, no Mongolian Einstein, and so on and so forth. The single most successful religion in human history--Christianity--was created by Greeks, Latins, and Jews, who are all whites (plus a little help from North Africans who are also often lumped in with whites), and is centered around Jesus, who was a Jew (i.e. white). White European culture has the highest standard of living in all of human history.

These are all facts which are inescapable. Many people may consider this racist. If this is racist, then reality is racist. No amount of cheerleading or apology will change the hard fact that White European culture is superior than all others, in all ways.

Cervantes was Spanish, born and bred. The term "Hispanic" is used in /modern/ times to refer to people from Mexico, Central America, and South America, so in this sense Cervantes was not "Hispanic."

Cervantes was "Hispanic" in the sense that he was from the old Roman province of Hispania, which we know today as the Iberian peninsula. Cervantes was a White European through and through, and thus belongs in the great pantheon of White Masters. This is the funny thing about language. I am 100% European, but since I am half Italian--my mom's family comes from Lazio--I am more Latino than any Mexican.

The illustrious group of White Masters is so large that it is easy to forget many of its members. Others that I failed to mention include Pythagoras, Socrates, Sir Thomas Moore, John Paul II, Da Vinci, Milton, Goethe, Adam Smith, Wordsworth, Dostoevsky, Dvorak, Mozart, Coleridge, and Tchaikovsky. The Jews are a list unto themselves--they dominate the Nobel Prizes, and are well-represented in general in the fields of medicine, science, technology, and finance.

Yes, Jews are Semites, but "Semitic" is a language family rather than a nationality or racial group. Jews are a separate and genetically distinct group, and are considered "white" along with Greeks and Latins, but the language itself is related to other languages from the Levant and Mesopotamia. The Arabs are Semites, and the Babylonians, Caananite tribes, and Phoenicians were also Semites, because all of their languages have enough similarities to place them into a specific language family.

Its like Latin or Germanic languages. English, Dutch, Norwegian, Danish, Icelandic, and German are all Germanic languages, but they are different cultures. Likewise, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Romanian, and Catalan are all Latin languages, but are different cultures.

The most fascinating aspect of this Alinsky tactic is that it is precisely how the alcoholic and drug addict keep their families and loved ones at bay while they inflict pain and chaos upon them.

The antidote for the victims of Alinskyism and the victims of manipulative addicts is the same: To be resolute in not engaging in their game. To double down on your own health and sanity. To join with others of like mind and validate that right is right and wrong is wrong. There is no "intervention" for the leftist but to rub their noses in their failure through your own success. Even then, they will still be leftists, but you will not be their slave.

> Leaving aside the fact that there is no single “Christian Church”...

Except that there is. The Bible refers to the various churches around the world individually and also to them all as "the Church", which is Christ's bride. In some sense, the Church is one. My understanding of this is that all true believers help comprise this entity. I don't think it matters how many denominations we organize, or that one assembly gives a mass while another rolls on the floor. If you love the Lord, obey the Lord's commandments and repent when you don't, then you are part of the Church.

Dems always make this out to be a racial issue when it clearly is a cultural one. Asians are outperforming every other race academically and will in a few years outpace lazy white entitlement minded millennials in the technical and business areas. Then what is Al Sharpton to do?

Quote: "Leaving aside the fact that there is no single “Christian Church” (a mistake common to non-Christians), and that Christianity comprises the Catholic Church, the Greek/Russian Orthodox Church and various declining sects of Protestanism, among other...."

Can you say 'religious bigotry? I thought you could. I suspect this writer knows only a bit more about religion that the liberals he mocks. Mainstream Protestantism may be declining in America, but various and more conservative segments are doing quite well.

Latin Americans, either at home or after they immigrate here, seem particularly drawn to the more Pentecostal and Evangelical branches of Protestantism because they're linked to responsibility and success in life.

The contrast is, of course, to the woefully inadequate culture we see in the remarks of the new Pope. The poor must be helped, he seems to be saying, because they can do no better. No, not true. They do badly because Latin American Catholicism offers them nothing but failure and a handout.

Actually, Walsh's claim that "the fact [is] that there is no single 'Christian Church'" is inaccurate. That's not because "non-Christians" believe it but that Christians do.

I mean, for example, how many times to you hear the assertion by Christians that "America is a Christian nation." Okay, but if there's no "single" Christian church, as Walsh claims, then what exactly does the notion that America is a Christian nation mean? Why is it that Christians use the term when they want to threaten you with their numbers but, when you ask them why, for example, they believe in the concept or Original Sin, they point at the Catholics and screech, "That's THEM, not us! We don't believe that crap!"

You can belong to one of your many little sects or you can belong to a united Christian church but you can't be both. And, the simple fact that there are so many different sects within Christianity necessarily means that the differences between the sects are so critically important to you that you cannot unite with the other sects to form one large umbrella belief. What does that tell you about the "unity" under Christ? I know what it tells me.

If I understand you correctly the best way to explain how Christians look at the "Church" is with the story of the "blind men and an elephant" with the blind men being the various Christian church doctrines and the elephant being the spiritual truth of the Church.

Suffice to say that the statement that "America is a Christian nation" may have several meanings ranging from the moral base of the founders, the constitutional elements anchoring personal freedom and liberty to the religious nature of the people.

In any case, whether there is one Christian [c]hurch (untrue) or one Christian [C]hurch (true) depends on context. As InklingBooks pointed out the author seems to be fairly ignorant on that subject.
