The New Game of Thrones Trailer Is Here!

After more than a year, Game of Thrones is coming back in July. HBO released a new trailer Wednesday, and it is electrifying.

The trailer reminds viewers that the final battle for Westeros is in the offing. Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) holds the Iron Throne, but not necessary for long. She faces threats to the East (Daenerys Targaryen and her dragons), the West (the Greyjoys from the Iron Islands), the South (the Sand Snakes from Dorne), and the North (Jon Snow and Sansa Stark).

But as dragons and horsemen descend on Westeros from the East, the undead march from the North.

“If we don’t put aside our enmities and stand together, we will die,” declares Davos Seaworth (Liam Cunningham). “And then it doesn’t matter whose skeleton sits on the Iron Throne.”

The new season premiers on Sunday, July 16, on HBO. Watch the trailer below.
