Here’s another great one-hit wonder. For the uninitiated, Damn Yankees was a side project featuring Ted Nugent and Tommy Shaw. They had one big hit – this one – and not much else. The video’s dumb as can be, but those harmonies are amazing! Here’s “High Enough.”

One of the funny things about "One Hit Wonders" is that most of them actually weren't.

Damn Yankees had a number of other "hits":

"Coming of Age" (350,000 views on youtube)

"Come Again" (500,000 views on youtube)

"Where You Going Now" (750,000 views on youtube)

Maybe not as popular as High Enough, but certainly popular, both then and still now...

The follow-up album "Don't Tread on Me" sold pretty well. The rock is considerably harder than the first, and the songs didn't get nearly as much airplay.
