Without in the least trying to explain why, I agree that “God is a verb”, more specifically the verb “to be”. Much Scholastic philosophy defined God as “ens supremum” or “ens infinitum”. Following in the footsteps of Nicholas of Cusa I define God as “esse infinite” or “to be infinitely”. By “infinity”, moreover, I understand “actual infinity”, i.e., infinity that EXLUDES all finitude. By now the reader would like to see me in an asylum for the mentally troubled. Rabbi Cooper is on to something or really on to no-thing since God is not a thing. Oh, the linquistic games we can play here.
In reality It’s all a process. God, Nature, Creation, Tao, etc describe an unfolding, never static fluxing. It can be safely said that there are no “objects” of Nature, only happenings. Self evident Truths that are not made any less real by human linguistc/cultural conventions. Namaste.
