Photographic Metaphor of the Day

As spotted by Jon of the Exurban League, the caption at Yahoo reads:

Note the bored, pouting child on the left, who can’t wait for this to be over; the contented child with a non-Michelle Obama-approved sugary treat on the right; and in the center, a voting, empowered mom — perhaps she supported Hillary in 2008, or with those cowgirl boots was a red state GWB/reluctant McCain voter?

In any case, whether it was by happenstance, or artfully staged by the photographer, a terrific compositional metaphor for the day.
